Village Green General Store — Local services in Eastham

I was pleasantly surprised to find a couple of random items here this morning needed for an impromptu recipe (chicken stock and stuffing mix). I truly expected to have to drive a bit further down the road to the dreadful supermarket in our area. I have to admit, I usually only pop in here for my Powerball tickets.

Not only were the items in stock, but compared the price-gougers down the road at the big box store, my purchase seemed entirely reasonable. And as always, the staff was friendly in spite of the dark and stormy weather.

A small store with a large variety. They have a large stock of basics and some unusual items. From the outside, it looks like there are mostly toys and games but don’t be deceived!
