Visited this place four years ago and felt that the menu was lacking. Decided to try it a few days ago and it hadn’t changed much. I ordered the rice bowl with vegetables and shrimp as add ons. I was then told that they were out of brown rice. I said yes to the white rice and made sure to ask whether there was snow peas or any small green peas in the vegetable medley that was going to be on top of the rice. I was told no but there were pea pods. When the meal arrived the rice was a fried rice with small green peas mixed into the rice. Those peas make me really sick. Maybe I should have said that I was allergic but I did say that I couldn’t eat the green peas. When I asked for plain rice which is what I thought I was getting in the first place, I was told that they didn’t have any more rice . Even though there were just 4 of them, the shrimp did taste good and I didn’t want to waste the entree so I asked if I could just have two sides to replace the large bowl of rice. I was told no! I could only get one side! I asked for sweet potato fries and was told that I had to pay $2. Extra. I was in shock. I wanted to ask for a manager but didn’t. The waitress admitted that the vegetables and 4 shrimp weren’t much of a meal but was still rigid. I just ordered regular fries and ended up paying full entree price for half of my entree and a side. My husband and I were so turned off that we didn’t eat desert or ordered anything else. Would not be returning....
Read moreI was always unimpressed by this place. Mediocre food and slow service at a high price. Tonight was by far the worst. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. They were both served relatively quickly. The calamari was delicious, but cold. They must make common appetizers and let them sit. We weren't even there 15 minutes, there is no way the calamari was less than a half hour old. Our entrees were served by someone other than our waitress. We didn't see our actual waitress until at least 15 minutes into our meal. I had an empty drink for at least 10 minutes. She didn't ask how our appetizer was (cold!), how our food was, or if we needed drinks. I ordered a $32 seafood dish. It resembled something out of the frozen seafood section at the supermarket. There were easily 8-10 of the rubbery ends of lobster claws. That's not what I consider lobster in a $32 dish. There were also tiny prawns that you would expect from a low end Chinese takeout. Mixed in were a handful of actual shrimp and scallops. Did they actually doctor up a frozen dish? I think so. The waitress finally came back and asked if we wanted dessert. We declined, my wife had a full glass of wine and I intended on having another drink when she slapped the check on the table. I reluctantly left a tip and we laughed when she took it, never asked if we needed change. Worst waitress ever, I wouldn't expect food this bad at a mall food...
Read moreHands down my absolute favorite restaurant. We don't really go out anymore, but as soon as this is over this is where we will celebrate. My favorite dish is the roasted pear salad which is seasonal, but oo la la it's amazing enough to mention in the off season. (I wish they sold the apple cider vinegarette by the bottle- seriously can you guys make that a thing??) The scallops and bacon never disappoint in any form and you can't go wrong with filet mignon or burgers. The buffalo wings are a hit, and even the pickiest eaters are satisfied with the children's menu. It's the perfect restaurant for a quiet date night, meeting friends for drinks, celebrating a birthday or family dinner. We actually had my sisters bridal shower at the easton restaurant. Service is always stellar, we have had to wait during busy times but that's to be expected. They've been excellent with food restrictions/intolerances too. We had one instance where the waitstaff was Incredibly patient and helped figure out what one person in our party could order safely. She had recently been recently been diagnosed with multiple food allergies and was almost hesitant to order. The waitress really went above and beyond that day to make sure she was safe and enjoyed her meal without feeling like she was causing inconvenience. Enjoy and...
