Once our party of four arrived, I knew there was something wrong going on at this location with the staffing. We are from Connecticut and were taking out to a nice casual diner two other relatives that live in the area. Evidently tho there was only one server and then multiple staff helping out as best they could. Although there were many empty tables it took about 15 minutes to be seated. A shift staff person took our order but never asked us for our rewards number and we told her that we BOTH wanted to get the Monday night special. A plain clothed man delivered our food and another woman we had never seen before offered to take our payment after eating without even offering us an itemized bill to review first. We had to go find her to ask why the Monday night burger special discount was not credited to the bill. I asked why BOTH burgers were not discounted and she told me that in that case we needed TWO checks, once for each reward account. This of course was not told to us when we ordered and we had to even ask for the ONE burger to be discounted on the bill after having to track her down, no less. This scenario reflects very badly on the general operations of this restaurant on this evening because only ONE of the burgers was discounted, the "waitress' then proceeds to lament and plead that she was the only waitress, yada yada yada...trying to get some degree of sympathy from underserved and poorly served customers. I can imagine it might be difficult to employ dependable people to wait tables and maybe on a Monday holiday some are prone to calling in sick unnecessarily but a well run establishment takes precautions to avoid such circumstances. The food was mediocre, the service was dismal and with these kind of experiences, your customers will continue to decline...
Read moreI'M DONE WITH THIS PLACE. THIS PLACE HAS AN INCREDIBLE ABILITY TO DISAPPOINT 😞. Went on Saturday night which is normally a super busy night for a good restaurant but hardly anyone was there. Ordered the 26$ steak, lobster, shrimp special,, My friend got chicken tenders and we got seafood stuffies. The Stuffies were more stuffing than seafood. The fry and corn sides were boring and bland. My medium rare steak was soo overcooked you almost needed a miter saw to cut it. The waitress was fine but not exceptional. NO MANAGEMENT CAME BUY TO ASK HOW THINGS WERE. THEY WERE TOO BUSY IN THEIR FANCY HEADSET TO TALK TO CUSTOMERS!! I have much better experiences at 99's in Canton and Quincy. If you really need a 99 go to one of those locations cause this one is a joke or better yet go to the Texas Roadhouse. These corporate places are supposed to know better.
Went on Saint Patrick's Day. Redesigned bar/ dining was nice. My seafood trio was good. My friend was not happy with the corned beef and cabbage. Gold wings were had a very muted flavor. Waitress was good. Friend was not happy with To go...
Read moreReally enjoyed our night out. In times of post Covid era restaurants are stepping up in Massachusetts and doing their best to keep employees working and customers a great experience and hopefully a little break from the stress. This location of The 99 Restaurant in Easton Ma is a good example of this. Food was good. Atmosphere was clean and inviting. Plenty of parking for guests and our waitress was very pleasant and fast. Everything was actually quite nice. The only reason I couldn't give them 5 stars is because of their menu. I'll explain. They have some good staples on their menu but I'd like to see more variety in dinner and lunch options. A quite a few items were over priced for what it was. My last pet peeve that I couldn't look past was some of the menu items are not fresh and cooked (warmed) from frozen items. For the price and how nice the dwelling and location are I would expect nothing to be frozen and everything to be fresh ☺️ I would definitely go back! My boyfriend got a steak I was...
