Great food! Great service! These people are really going the extra mile. Most menu items available for carry out, as well as their delicious soup. Some restaurants don't seem happy about doing carry out. While I'm sure Andarys would rather be doing normal business, they make it clear that they really appreciate your business. Times are tough. It's time to support our community businesses, and don't forget to tip your wait staff a little more than normal.
An update. Andarys is open for dine in service, and seem to be adapting well to the new challenges. One exception to this the kitchen staff. I stopped today for a carry out, and noticed no one taking precautions in the kitchen. No gloves or masks. Unfortunate, because I won't feel safe eating there again as long as there is no vaccine for the virus.
Another update a year late. Ordered carry out for Thanksgiving dinner last year. (No dine in at that point) I ordered two turkey dinners to make sure I'd have enough white meat leftover for sandwiches. Between the two dinners there wasn't enough white meat for one sandwich. I would have thought they would have given a sampling of white and dark meat. Went there a couple times after dine in returned, but it just didn't appear that they really cared much about their customers. I have gone from eating there three times a week to not eating...
Read moreCame in solo for an early dinner. It's always busy so I was excited to try this place! Right off the bat; Sevice sucked. The waitress disappeared after I ordered. Shift change, I suppose but, she wasn't replaced. I had to flag someone down to refill my drink, twice, get up and ask for extra napkins and reminded whomever passed by that I hadn't received my lemons for my water midway through my meal. I was also shocked that a woman with a puppy in her purse came in to pick up food and of course, all the servers wanted to pet it. And they did...and then delivered food to tables! Without even washing their hands!! Thankfully, I received my order before the puppy had arrived. Puppy incident aside: The food was just was okay. Not bad in taste, per see, just very poor quality. Ordered the chopped sirloin and mashed potatoes with a house salad. The sirloin was tough and bland and the potatoes were questionable. Sort of reminded me of instant potatoes at the hospital or something. The gravy tasted like flour and was lumpy. As in, I actually had to smash the lumps with my fork to mix it up. The A1 sauce offered was heavily watered down, the ranch dressing was like water and my house salad literally floated, it was so runny. I could have eaten my salad with a friggin' straw! Very, very disappointed! I...
Read moreThis is one of me and My Husband‘s favorite places to dine at the Century located for us and it’s right down the street from our business and only a few miles away from our home we’ve been going here for at least 13 years if not more, the owner is so sweet and kind and he has no problem, jumping in helping his staff when needed. You can tell a lot of of the people are part of his family because you can feel the family love and even if they’re not blood related you will not be able to tell because they’re all treat each other like family anyway and they make the customers feel like family as well. I’ve never not once came in here and did not get a personal greetings or hello from him with a smile, sometimes even a conversation depending on how busy he is. I definitely recommend this place to anybody for breakfast lunch or dinner. The food is amazing.,The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is very relaxing and cozy! As soon as you walk in, you can tell you’re in the right place. I even love the fact in the winter time they have a heat lamp right in the front entrance hallway so you can feel warmth before you come in to fill your stomach. I definitely give this restaurant five stars. ...
