Baywash — Local services in Eastpointe

This had been my goto AUTOMATIC car wash for years as the overall reliability of this wash has been decent- that is until lately- there have been too many instances of the automatic wash EITHER accepting my payment, and then not working halfway into the wash (essentially after about 1 minute, the 'Thank you, drive forward' message appear, leaving my car partially wet and not finished at all), or EATING up my quarters without crediting it into the machine....to make matters worse, the BUSINESS PHONE # is a disconnected line. My solution- STOP coming here and issue CHARGEBACKS on my credit card for any washes (multiple) that did not work at all after having taken...

I visited Gratiot Bay Wash on Saturday, April 23, 2013. I paid $8 for the best touch-free wash. I drove into the bay and the undercarriage wash didn't spray.... hmmm. The bay sprays down the pre-wash soak, then immediately rinses....WTF?? The bay then honks loudly, and the sign says "Your Car Is Clean" and "Have A Nice Day" WTF? So I look for a phone number on the building. Nothing. No cards for writing down problems, no phone number to call, NOTHING! What kind of service is this? Now I have to open a dispute with my bank because I didn't get my service....

I love that this is a no touch automatic car wash. They don't use a conveyor system, so you don't have to worry about that potential damage. The best part is that u have the option to upgrade to a higher level with the touch of a button. The vacuum and carpet freshners are easy to use as well. They have vending for vehicle refreshing needs. Everything u might need in the front near vacuums. If you are old school, they have the stalls where u can wash your car by hand as well. Never used, but people use them often. They appear...
