We ordered the 2 for $25 as the server suggested & recieved a free full size appetizer (onion rings) I paid using the kiosk sitting on the table & had the reciept emailed. Once home, I reviewed my bill and discovered we were charged $30, not $25. I ordered sirloin & my son a burger. I can deal with that, but when I was served the mash potatoes were cold so I asked the server for hot potatoes. She brought me some in a small dish & my bill reflected a $2.99 charge for ALA Potatoes. I imagine tjis means al a cart. The food over all reminded me of cafe food, not a restaurant although the atmosphere is definatly restaurant inspired. The first bite of my steak had grissle, which I had to spit out in my napkin. It was cooked correctly at mid rare, just tough. It came with the garlic mash & broccoli. The potatoes had no flavor, likley instant with a few chives sprinkled on top. Broccolli good. The boy had a burger & fries. He enjoyed both. Our server & the staff were most notable. Very attentive and smiles all around. I might go back for an appetizer in the bar during happy hour or for a salad. The onion ring appetizer was good, servered with both ranch (tasted made in house) & a tasty bbq sauce. The onion rings are made with very wide cut onions, so if you prefer thin cut (like my boy) you may not enjoy these. Overall I'm not in any hurry to go back here to eat. Food wasnt that good & I was...
Read moreTook ~20 minutes just to receive our appetizers, and then main course was brought out minutes afterwards and put on top of our appetizers. Was not informed of our server's shift change, and did not know who our new server was until she decided to ask us how everything was, and even then did not inform us she was our new server. The steak salad that my girlfriend ordered had corn in it but when it arrived it literally had 1 kernel of corn on it. When asked for more corn on the side to be put in the salad our server brought us the salsa mix which also had only a few kernels of corn in it. The chicken quesadillas that came in our appetizer sampler had barely and cheese or chicken and the boneless wings were borderline cold, room temperature at best.
Spoke with a manager and she seemed to not understand why we wanted to speak with a manager. We made it clear we did not want anymore or other food from the establishment but felt as if we were not getting our money's worth with What we would be paying. The manager kept asking if there is anything else she could have made for us. The manager eventually comped the salad and appetizer, however paying full price for good food that was not cold would have been more satisfying than getting comped...
Read moreI went in on a Thursday at 9 pm. for a light snack and a drink since i had a flight at 6 am. the next day. I chose to sit at the bar since I felt it would be quick and the adult drinks were in its vicinity. I waited about ten minutes with no service, even though the bartender was talking about living in the Highlands to other patrons. The bartender excuse herself for not tending to me at around 5 minutes of me sitting waiting, but still, after 10 minutes, she still didn't come back around to ask for my order of food or drinks. So I got up and went back to the front door hostess and asked for a table since I was not going to get any service at the bar. I got a little better service at the floor seating area. I dont know why I felt unwelcomed but the waitress did her best in providing service on the floor. I counted only 15 tables filled on the floor. It was mildly busy but not enough to warrant slow service. The food was good, but the service needs work, so a customer feels like a regular. Lastly, only certain drinks are available during happy hours when those drinks use the same liquor as the ones not available...
