Ordered 4 burrito bowls. Proportions was completely off on one it basically looked like a salad thatās how bad it was. The rest were missing toppings like guacamole which is extra so werenāt so happy about that. Everyone was hungry so we decided just to take the worst one and let them eat while we went back thinking this was an easy fix hey people make mistakes weāll just have them remake this one and get the guacamole that we are missing. Nope. Talked to a woman at the register who claimed to be the manager she told us she couldnāt remake it unless all the bowls where there. Not just the one? Nope they all need of it to be there. Can we get the extra guacamole that is missing? Nope. While talking about the proportions she told us āactually we didnāt have to give you this muchā then proceeded to pull out (Iām not even kidding) a salsa cup saying āthis is technically all we have to gave you. This is actually a perfect bowlā. Mind you she now keeps touching the bowl and holding it up while sheās saying this. I was kinda speechless on not only how rude but confusing this was considering as weāre talking there are other customers walking by with bowls absolutely stuffed none of which asked for extra toppings while sheās basically telling me I should be grateful for the amount I got. Iām paying the same price as everyone else yet getting completely half of the amount. Story doesnāt stop there though. She told us to do a complaint online so we could have it fixed. So we did. They gave us a buy one get one free meal⦠so have to pay an extra $14 to fix YOUR mistake and pay another $4 for guacamole in place of the ones you also didnāt give us that we had already payed for. We were so hungry and fed up so we said whatever weāll do it. Waited. Got the food. Messed up again. We take it back and she said to our face that the order wasnāt wrong. Excuse me? So we opened up the bowels and literally had to point out to her what was wrong. One she agreed was completely wrong the other she claimed they were out of lettuceā¦so you werenāt going tell us that when you handed us the food or??? She remade the bowl, did nothing with the one missing lettuce, and we left. The whole thing took almost an hour. No real apology, rude, and condescending. And she was supposedly the managerā¦. The food looked like it had been sitting there for some time and I even had the audacity to ask for fresh meat haha. I was willing to wait and they said, āThis is all we haveā; as customers flooded in behind me. There was dirt and food on the counter and floor. Didnāt look like the employees mopped or picked up much. After everything was all said and done, I asked for a cup for water, two to be specific, and the young girl said sheād bring them to us. After waiting a couple minutes nothing was brought to us. So I got up and asked for the cups and their response was that they didnāt have any, as a young girl from behind the counter was taking out a fresh pack of cups out from the plastic wrapping. They didnāt offer an alternative, which I would have expected as a customer. I would have originally purchased a fountain drink, but we didnāt since we donāt drink soda. Otherwise, I would have purchased a cup upon given that information when ordering, but we had already begun eating and the line was to the door. To upper management, this falls on you. These issues come from up top and should be rectified and lead by example. The cup of water issue is minute compared to the condition of this location. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location has gone downhill! And it's sad to see. I came in this evening around 7:00 pm, and they were out of chicken. Apparently, the customer ahead of me had also been waiting while they cooked up more chicken. I would think that someone would notice that the supply was low and began preparing more. Especially since the restaurant is scheduled to be open until 11:00pm - another 4 hours!!
I finally got my food and noticed that the food prep area was messy (my photo was too blurry to post). Unfortunately, right in front of the register was a large puddle of water. Apparently, the employees did not feel the need to clean up the water/safety hazard, but they did place a yellow hazard sign at one end of the puddle.
There was another large water puddle (with a yellow sign) in front of the soda machine. Two large water puddles should definitely be a safety concern that needs to be addressed immediately.
Two of the four lemonade/ Agua Fresca dispensers were completely empty, and the remaining two were almost out as well. I guess these specialty drinks aren't refilled very often.
While getting napkins from the dispenser and I noticed that the napkins are from the BeaverTails (Queues de Castor) restaurant (based in CANADA)! l'm not sure why the napkin dispenser would be filled with napkins from another restaurant, but sadly, a lot appears to be wrong with this location.
Hopefully, it will turn around sooner than later. I wouldn't recommend this location...
