My dad was near Popeyes so I asked him to pick me up the new chicken sandwich for lunch. He also got himself food. He returns home, and Popeyes had completely forgot to put the chicken sandwich in the bag, this was the first sign of the awful management at Popeyes. Me and my friend were aware of the buzz around the new Popeyes’s Chicken Sandwich, so we felt it was a good idea to go to Popeyes and try one ourselves, even after their mishap. Little did we know it would be one of the worst restaurant experiences of our lives. The second we walk in, the place is dirty and the workers were noticeably flustered. I knew that the place would be busy, but I imagined nothing like this. We wait in the short line which took 15 minutes due to the incompetent workers not being of service in any way shape or form. As we both approach the counter to ask for our food, we ask for two chicken sandwich combos, one with mashed potatoes on the side, one with a biscuit. We also asked for no mayo on both of our sandwich. After our order is complete, we confirm no mayo. The clerk completely forgets to hand me my change, so I have to ask for it after. They take about 5 minutes to complete the simplest task of getting me my 4 dollars. We fill up our drinks, and we look around for a seat, no seats were clean, and we decided to stand up to wait. After we finally spot a clean seat, our food comes. This was about 30 minutes after we ordered. I take a look in my bag, there was no mashed potatoes, and the sandwich was completely discombobulated the pickles were off, the bun was below the chicken, and worst of all, there was mayo on BOTH of our sandwiches after we confirmed numerous times that we wanted no mayo. We peek into my friends bag, we notice they forgot his biscuit, and his sandwich has the same issue, both of his pickles, soaked in mayo, not anywhere near his sandwich. Also, they completely forgot his biscuit. We eat our sandwiches, which were alright, but hard to enjoy out of the discomfort of the restaurant. We throw out our trash into the poorly maintained trash can, and decide to go to the bathroom, then head out. Read morePopeyes chicken is some of the best around, we all know that! Physically, this location is average-sized with a neutral interior design, nothing spectacular. Currently, the resturant is well staffed and clean. The staff seems friendly and customer service orientated. My only advice is: CHECK YOUR ORDER for accuracy! I have been to this location 6 times and 3 of those times I was given the incorrect order. One time they forgot to give me fries. Another time I was given mash potatoes instead of macaroni and cheese. The last time I was once again given mash potatoes instead of the side I ordered. They also forgot to include the toy that comes with the kids meal(It was a book, actually -which is a great idea!)Each time I bought an issue to the staffs attention I was quickly accommodated, and sometimes compensated. Another possible issue with this particular location is that they may not be participating in the national promotions. One customer was practically demanding he get a particular deal that he saw on a T.V. commercial. When the staff could not oblige, it was recommended that he go to the Neptune location in order to recieve the promotion he was looking for. He was not pleased with that answer. I was heading towards the door to leave so I didn't find out how the situation was resolved. In short, you can't go wrong with Popeyes chicken! Eating at this location is exactly what you expect from an average Popeyes resturant. A perk at this location is the friendly customer service I received each visit. Read moreWorst Popeyes Ever! I placed an online order for pick-up @ 2:45 (35-minutes prior to my arrival). When I arrived, there were 2 people on line and 1 person at the online order pick-up area. I stood behind the person that was at the pick-up area. Once that person left the server walked away and went about completing other orders of people waiting online! Finally I summoned the person and said I was here to pick-up an online order. He looked ahead could not find my order. (which was over $45). He walked over to the printed and pulled off a few sheets of paper and days he works get my order now! First or was 8-minutes past the time I was supposed to pick up my order and now I had to wait an additional 12-minutes good him to get it together. I ordered 3-meals and requested 8-packages of sauces. He told me it would cost extra and could only give me 4-total! I didn't care and she'd him his much the extra sauce would be, he said only $1! I told him it was totally fine! I handed him the $1, he walked away and out it in his pocket!!! This was the absolute worst experience I have had at any Popeyes or any fast foods establishment. Needless to say, I will NOT be frequenting this particular Popeyes and probably won't go to any of them again as the parent company has no clue what they're franchisees are doing!
