Burger King — Restaurant in Eau Claire

It's hard to review a chain like this. It's a Burger King. I haven't had any issues at the Golf Rd location in Eau Claire. The coupons on the mobile app can be a little disingenuous. Often they are just reworkings of different already available deals in different combinations. I tried the coffee subscription, and I don't recommend it. Yeah, it's Burger King coffee, which wouldn't be my first choice with Kwik Trip and Holiday right next door, but the bigger problem is that it is treated as a coupon rather than a real subscription. This means you can't get your daily free coffee AND use a breakfast coupon at the same time. I don't find that to be acceptable considering there is a monthly fee for the subscription. It's the same with the newer rewards program. I will say that through all the staffing issues and supply issues, the Golf Rd location has been great at customer service and has gone above and beyond to make up for the unavoidable issues the pandemic...

Definitely higher quality than McDonald's but like many they've really tested my patience lately. They claimed that they can handle separate orders, which I'd rather not do but don't really have a choice given that they don't allow dine-in eating anymore. But something as difficult as including a large fry seems beyond their grasp. What bothers me the most is there's no accountability without inconvenience to me, my fries are either going in someone else's order, in the trash or someone's mouth and I can't do anything about it without taking up another customers time. Even then there's the chance they don't believe me. At the end of the day it doesn't change much, I'm still going to go but my opinion of them has dropped even lower, although I can't bring myself to rate 1 star because they used to offer surge and might...

I recently went here to get some dinner with my buddy as we were driving through town. I had the best experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant and felt it deserved a 5 star review. Employee that went by the name "vann". Not sure if he was a manager or not but he was excellent. He catered to our needs. Brought us our meal and even brought us packets of ketchup as we did not see them when we walked by them. As we were walking out the door this employee said "have a great day gentleman". This guy went above and beyond what is expected of him as fast food employee and I give him props for being so dedicated to his job. This particular employee deserves to be recognized for his hard work and dedication....
