I was ordering my free papa rewards pizza online and I wanted to add some other items with a coupon. The online system won't allow you to. I call the store spent 5 mins on hold and the person working suggested I call the online help number. I called them and spent 25 mins on hold. They told me it was a know issue and they are working to fix it. They suggested to call the store and ask them if I could place one order for delivery and another for carryout then bring them together to me. So, I called and spent another 6 mins on hold. The person who answered told me he didn't know if they could do that and I would have to ask the manager. He said he was going to place me on hold and it could be a minute because they were busy. Fifteen minutes later someone (not a manager) answers the phone and asks me if I would like to place an order for delivery or carryout.
There's alot wrong with this story and it mainly boils down to poor customer service. I spent 51 minutes just on hold and never got my problem solved. I never even got to speak to a manager. There are many examples of poor customer service here but the straw that broke the camel's back was 15 minutes on hold waiting to speak to a manager. That should NEVER happen I don't care how busy your store is if your manager can't address problems or complaints in a timely manner your going to lose that customer 99% of the time. Not to mention the "He tells a friend, they tell a friend" effect that you create. I happen to be part of the 1% who enjoys the pizza enough to put up with one bad experience but GET YOUR S&$@ TOGETHER or eventually you will have no customers left.
Now that I received my one orders that I payed two delivery fees for. I would like to add that I only received 7 garlic knots and they forgot the extra pizza...
Read moreSo I ordered a signature sausage pizza for a buy 1 get 1 free deal on DoorDash and DoorDash put the order in so wonky and I got my pizza and it came with no cheese or sauce but that was what the DoorDash order told them to do I am pregnant and brainless so I didn’t really read the fine print so I called the store thinking it was their fault, the guy working fully explained to me what happened I was upset that DoorDash was misleading like that but also accepted that this was partially my fault due to not reading the exact fine print, the guy who helped me his name is Sergio and he still made me 2 new pizzas free of charge that were the ones I wanted! And mind you he made these pizzas 30 minutes before closing! He made my pregnant emotional self so happy and it made my whole night I’m tight on money so getting a pizza I spent my last $20 on that I was disappointed in was so heartbreaking to me but Sergio made sure I got a satisfying experience and left with a tasty pizza! I can’t thank him enough for his great customer service and understanding of the situation we need more people like him working in food service! I hope he gets a raise in the near future because he deserves it! I will be a forever customer for...
Read moreHad a less than satisfying experience when we ordered delivery to our hotel room on Sat, May 18th, 2019 around 11pm. We had been out for a grand opening of local brewery. Got back to our room to find the delivery guy waiting for us. I felt bad for making him wait a bit so we tipped him $15. Has he is walking away, he says "you guys need to drink some water". I was shocked to think this kid thought it was an appropriate way to speak to a customer, especially one that just tipped him almost 80%. We quickly say, "excuse me? Why dont you give us some of that money back we just gave you for being so rude" and he said "to late now, go have another!" At this point I was ready to chase this kid down and TAKE my money back. We didn't, but I am hoping he is reprimanded for speaking extremely rude and inappropriate to a paying customer. I will be stopping into the location branch to express my concerns as well. On top of this, the breadstick were horrible. And they are normally our fav from Papa John's. Pretty...
