I ordered a delivery from this Jimmy John’s store today and by far this was my worst experience ever. Jimmy John’s is known for its fast delivery service, which is what made me order from here. But this is just not true at all. They took 50 minutes just to make a sandwich! I called the store to check what is going on with my order, the lady who answered the phone assured me that it was now ready and that it is out for delivery. Guess what? she lied! the order was still not ready and it was certainly not out for delivery. I called the store again to check on the status, but now starts the even more unprofessional behavior, they stopped answering my calls! After some more time the food was finally out for delivery. The order I received was missing half the items! I tried calling the store, but these super unprofessional people would just not answer. After 4 tries they finally answered my call, I told them that this is not good how they have ignored my calls, but the reply was “did you get your order yet?” NO acknowledgment to them ignoring their customer’s calls. I told her that I did receive my order and that some items are missing, she just said that “oh, I can refund you for those items” is that it? is this what your customers deserve? we are waiting for food, this is our dinner! have some sense! how can a refund fight a hungry stomach? that too such a blunt reply? I know I will never get any refund from a person who lacks basic manners and a store who does not care about their customers being treated in such a way. I am extremely disappointed and would say that this was my last time ordering from this store. The delay due to a busy store is normal, but the way it was handled shows how much you care about your customers. The Jimmy John’s app does not have a section for reporting such store behavior. But I hope someone reads this and takes action. This is what ruins the reputation of a brand, of a favorite store. Sandwich was abnormally soggy, and it made the bread pretty disgusting. I didn't think much about it, sometimes you get a gross sandwich, but my partner was pretty upset and called the store to report it since we both had issues.
The supervisor or manager who picked up the phone definitely decided she was going to pick a fight, even though he wasn't seeking anything other than to let the store know they're making some gross sandwiches.
What actually made me file this complaint was how she spoke to him. It was rude, inappropriate, and dismissive. Her comment and the tone in which she said "The only wet thing on the sandwiches is mayo or sauce" was incredibly condescending. So I guess ya'll don't wash your produce, since that can't be excessively wet? You don't wash the tomatoes, the lettuce, your hands, it's completely impossible to introduce water into the food where it shouldn't be? As a food establishment, you're saying cross-contamination is impossible and you're going to be incredibly rude to a customer who tries to report it?

Read moreConfirmed an order for 7 (30) piece party pack sandwiches for 9/13 at 2:30 pm for the EPHS Marching Band to feed 94 people for a competition. Called and sent tax exempt form on Friday so everyone was aware. Received a phone call at 2:30 pm on 9/13 (time sandwiches were supposed to be ready for pick up) letting us know sandwiches weren’t made and if we wanted them. Were disappointed, but yes we wanted them as we needed to feed the band kids. Edward- manager assured us sandwiches would be ready at 3:15/3:30. Arrived at Jimmy John’s in person at 2:55 and sandwiches hadn’t been started. When asked about sandwiches was gaslight and told “you told us you didn’t want the sandwiches”. This was completely false. The 7 (30) pack party pack boxes were on the counter so they knew they had to be filled.
I asked how long it would take to make the sandwiches to feed the band kids and Edward looked around and stated “I don’t have enough bread made here to make your sandwiches” I’ll have to cancel your order.
