Melts & Burgers — Restaurant in Eden Prairie

This place might just be the best food in all of Eden Prairie! The couple that own and run this place always give the best service, and the melts are fantastic! They use nice thick pieces of bread that are perfectly cooked so that the outer crust has the most delicate crunch while the inside remains soft and provides a juxtaposition of textures that is to die for. As for the contents, they cook each melt so that the cheese gets melty but somehow not runny, and it stays that way for the entirety of the meal. I don't know what magic they use to craft their food but my god is it out of this world!

Then for the fries. Wow! Again, they pair perfectly well with the melt in that the outer part of the fry is crispy while the middle is warm but soft. Eating here is a magical experience and with all due respect to finer restaurants like Redstone or local legends like Lion's Tap, this is the best place to grab a meal in...

I had to make this a 2 days in a row event as I got the burger on the first day followed by pho on the 2nd day.

Honestly, I was just surprised to see pho on the menu in a SW metro mall.

For 10.75 in 2024, this small bowl of pho was not a bad deal. Broth was flavorful, smaller than expected quantity of meat, but still good enough to quench your pho cravings.

Now, onto the burger and fries. I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. The price tag was under 20 which is good for 2024 standards. The Patty was a bit plain, but palatable. The winner for this meal are the fries. It is nice and crisp with possibly a light coat of batter.

So I've been there 3 times since it opened the first time was fine the food was good and the service was ok (opening week). The 2nd time the service was awful nobody was up front at the cointer looking for customers and when I finally ordered I realized that I forgot to order a soda so I went back up and they charged me for the full order a second time (never got the redund). The third time I was there which was about a week and a half ago I waited for 10 minutes for them to tell me their grill was not working.
