Every interaction I have there, every time I go- I am left feeling disrespected. First time I asked for Black Girl Magic wine knowing they had it because I purchased it before and they all looked at my bf and I like we were crazy. It was the look on their face that made me feel they were prejudice.
They asked if we were messing with them. And kept saying “ BLAAACK GIRL MAGIC WINE??!!!” Over and over and over- a handful of the employees. And they kept staring - it was the looks they gave us for a product they have in stock…
I try to just ignore it because I liked the store itself but it’s not worth it. When I go back, it’s always something.
I just went in and was given dirty looks by a woman behind the counter. She kept staring with a dirty look on her face at my dress- a dashiki dress (which is cultural), looked over at the other employee and started chuckling. And made sure to just hand me the receipt and ignore me from there.

He had an earpiece but was speaking a foreign language which seemed like the cashier's real issue. Second time they wouldn't let me cut my cigar with the cutter that was in the display - ok, you don't know how to sell a cigar. But third time, younger female cashier wouldn't let me buy anything because she was "uncomfortable" that a 56 year old father brought his 13 year old daughter into a liquor store. Ok KAREN, better I leave my daughter alone in the liquor store parking lot? Even the old guy sweeping the floor had his jaw drop open. NEVER going back. Owners need to get a handle on their staff before their staff drives the store out of business. Do yourself a favor and...
