Edgewater Dunkin needs an overhaul. This place has gone down hill over the last several years. Before I start let me say that the day time Manager Haily and the team that works early mornings are amazing, always polite and does a great job. I live in Edgewater and have stopped coming to this establishment past 3pm. I drive all the way to beachside to get my afternoon/evening coffee. The evening shift that works especially the girl who says she is the manager idk if she actually is or not, the one with the extreamly long fake nails (I get creeped out when shes the one making my coffee just because I dont see how she can clean them proper after the bathroom and I don't feel like they should be allowed to be that long while working in a food industry thats my opinion) I have been there an hour before closing and they pretend they are already closed and they just hide. They refuse to wait for the coffee to brew all the way so they will give you the very first bit that comes out which to me always taste burnt and is super thick. It doesn't matter how simple the order is or how difficult it is you can guarantee they will mess it up. Tonight under my better judgement I sent my daughter there to pick up 3 coffees, now hers is a little more difficult due to it being a specialty frozen coffee but mine and my husband's are very simple. There were no cars and no one in line inside when she arrived and it was still a 10 plus minute wait. They had to remake my daughters because they completely forgot to add any flavor to it when she asked for them to fix it, the so called manager rolled her eyes and huffed at her and proceeded to storm off with an attitude (They did remake it correctly). Once my daughter arrived home I seen my ice coffee was full of sugar which I only use Splenda to due to medical reasons and my husband's had no sugar at all in it. Yes the stickers were correct. They are either just not able to follow directions or just lact attention to details. The total for this trip was almost 14 dollars i dumped mine out due to the sugar but my husband was able to add sugar to his and drink it. I did call to speak to the manger who refused to give me her name and told me I could call and complain tomorrow but had no issues telling me the other girls name and then said well I didn't make your coffee so I don't know what to tell you, then hung up on me. My advice to anyone who loves a good cup of Dunkin coffee to avoid the Edgewater location at all cost unless its early mornings and Haily is working. Just drive the extra few miles to beachside they always do an...
Read moreWorst customer service in Edgewater! Would give 0 stars if I could. This Dunkin location makes the bad service at Wendy's seem decent. If you have anxiety about asking for your order to be fixed DO NOT GO HERE. You may as well go to NSB for Starbucks or keep your incorrect order. If anything is consistent with this place, it is that they WILL give you the wrong food or mess up your coffee. Went inside with my friend for food and drinks. I could already feel the tension between the employees. I asked for the Boston cream donut and was given a powdered donut. I even apologized when I told the manager that wasn't what I asked for, and I heard her mumble "dumba**" under her breath. Not sure if that was directed at me or the other employee who made the mistake, but I already have anxiety about asking for my order to be fixed and that made me feel worse. She proceeded to snap at multiple employees and every single one of them looked like they were in a horrible mood. As I was waiting 10 minutes for my food, a child asked one of the employees for a box, and in a rude tone, she snapped "You're going to have to give me a minute!" When the child walked away the employee (short blonde hair with dark lowlights) gave me the nastiest glare as if I had done or said a word to her. All I did was give her a polite smile because I was uncomfortable. Not sure why I deserved that? Instead of asking herself, the manager demanded that another male employee ask my friend what she was waiting on. We had ordered food and there were only 2 other people waiting with us so it wasn't like they were busy. The employee refused to ask and he threw our food onto the to-go rack without a word a few minutes later. The manager had thrown my donut in the bag chocolate-side down so that was a messy surprise. The hashbrowns tasted stale like they had been sitting out for a while and the sandwich was just okay. Nothing to write home about. I stopped going to this location years ago because of their inconsistency towards getting base menu items correct, but gave them another chance. Never again. I understand that this store has a very high turnover rate and does not treat their employees well, but that is not an excuse to take it out on customers who are being polite and did nothing wrong! Please seek employment at another company! Manager should be let go so she can work nights at the cemetery and not have the displeasure of interacting with co workers...
Read more3/14/2019 poor service, I ordered a Carmel macchiato, hash browns and a wake up wrap. The only thing they got right was the wake up wrap. So I get to the Drive through and I thank to my self, "oh the line isn't that long this will be quick." Need less to say I ordered my items pulled up to the window and seen a good have dozen people back there working. I honestly thought this is going to really fast. That was one of my many judgement of error I made this morning. So the hand me a bag with my food really quickly. So yeah quick awesome. Nope about 10mins later the hand me an ice coffee, werid I ordered a hot one I said. I made so many judgements in error this morning, one was thinking they would be faster second not checking my food bag before I left the store and third not checking my drink before leaving. So they didn't give my my hash browns I paid for, oh did I mention I went through the drive through. I didn't get napkins, I guess they figure "he doesn't need them." I mean that or they forgot to put them in there. I'm going with the latter. The the give me a plain macchiato. Fine I can drink it like a man, no prob. That's not the 1st , 2nd or 3rd time they screwed up my order. Whit that said I now good help is hard to fine these days but I would recommend placing little signs all over the back of the counter, that only the works could see. My be next to the coffee machine, cash register and toaster. That say don't screw up this order in red bold letters on a white background. I know this might trigger some of the workers and they might need to go to there happy place, but I think it's worth the risk, look at it as an investment. One they might not screw up as much, to the ones that get triggered might quit and we don't...
