Paradise Beach Weddings — Attraction in Edgewater

UPDATE as of June 17, 2022- We STILL. have NOT received a refund from Paradise Beach Weddings in Edgewater, FL, but I did receive an email from Steve stating he did not like my review. He also stated, “you will get paid Janine, just leave it at that!” This email came in Oct 2021 & yet we still not have receivers refund from him, his wife or their business. The email does go on in a threatening manner on Steve’s behave. BUYER BEWARE BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT BOOK WITH PARADISE IN THE EVENT A CANCELLATION NEEDS TO HAPPEN!!! IT IS NOT GUARANTEED YOU WILL BE PAID BACK WITHOUT CHASING HIM DOWN FOR THE FUNDS YOU ARE OWED! A YEAR LATER AND I AM STILL CHASING HIM!! This is my first time writing a review good or bad, but my frustration keeps rising. My husband and I originally scheduled our destination wedding for 4/2020 with Paradise Beach Weddings, but the pandemic had other plans. We paid Steve for the wedding in full by end of 1/2020. We even continued to add services to the day & paid each one there after. Steve was a pleasure to work with originally in the planning. Due to the pandemic we had to cancel our wedding, but did not want to hurt his business so we pushed to a one year vow renewal in 3/2021. Due to circumstances we had to officially cancel our contract in 10/2020 (giving 5mnth notice). Steve stated he put us on the refund list but w/Covid-19 business was slow-we understood. I am now here 1 year later and still only received a fraction of our refund. With no communication from Steve. I have to chase him down every 3-4 months for a payment while his business looks to be thriving on social media at this time. Due to our contract we are not asking for full refund but what is owed to us and we have only received a few hundred dollars back (at 2 separate dates) compared to the thousands we are owed. We don’t even know where to begin. From the first time we spoke with Steve and Sandy with Paradise Beach Wedding they were extremely informative, answering so many of our questions, all the details, amazing ideas, and never difficult to communicate with. Themselves and their staff were so professional, friendly, on the ball and truly a well oiled machine. Though bedside the business aspect part of it, they truly cared, treated us like family, every detail mattered to them to make our day perfect for us. They went so above and beyond that we’re still on cloud nine, not just for their services, but also because of who they are as people. They made the process of a 100 person wedding feel like it was only 10. It was so smooth, flowed, destressed every moment and we are truly blessed to have found them. They made our wedding ceremony and reception one for the history books. Our friends and family were so impressed and every single person said our wedding was the best they ever attended! From the layout, set up, orchestrating, to clean up and every detail in between. This company is not just a company, they are family now! When my wife and I got engaged in March of 2021, we immediately knew we wanted to have a wedding in Florida (our happy place). We wanted to do it within reasonable distance to Orlando because of Disney and Universal. A quick google search had Paradise beach weddings at the top. We ultimately decided on New Smyrna beach due to being a an hour from Orlando, and the fact it appeared to be a quieter beach with little to no party scene. We got in touch with Steve and he assisted us with everything. The pricing is beyond reasonable, and the ceremony was better than I could have ever dreamed it being. Our families and ourselves were coming in from TX, so having that many people come in for a ceremony not quite knowing what's at the other end can be very scary. I assure you, Steve will deliver, and he will make your wedding beyond memorable. Everything from the set up, to the photographer, to the actual sermon will be something we and our guests will never forget.
