Generally I have had a good experience at this restaurant. Today for the first time , I decided to order dessert. I was served cheesecake that was frozen. As we are all aware , cheesecake is more narrow at the end than it is at the top. I started eating from the bottom which was not frozen but you could tell it was very cold. As I got to the middle of the cheesecake, it was frozen and I could not eat it. The waitress when I asked her did you get it out of the freezer she said yes, our cheesecake is sold from the freezer. I was like well you should probably thaw it out before you serve it. She then told me that she was going to charge me a discounted price because I'd already had some of the cheesecake. Yes, I didn't get to enjoy the cheesecake because it was frozen. I was trying to get through it but I couldn't. So then she comes around the register and snatches the receipt that I signed out of my hand ! I told her I would not be back. Needless to say my whole entire work team comes to this place but I will be sharing with them my...
Read moreMy husband and I went today for a late lunch/ early dinner around 4pm. This being our first time there we ordered 3 different sushi rolls, an onion soup, and a side of habachi noodles. The first roll they brought out we were told it was salmon but we sure it was crab (turned out to be the summer roll). We did not order the summer roll and we didn't find this out until after I looked at the check after we paid and left. We ordered the spicy tuna, spicy salmon and the crab stick roll. We did not get the crab stick roll instead they gave us the summer roll which we were not fans of at all...it was also more expensive for that roll as well. The Onion soup was kinda watery tastinf and we did not enjoy that at all and the habachi noodles were super sweet. Not sure if this is somewhere we will go back again or at least not for a little while. Also I feel like none of the servers really were paying attention, they were just doing prep work which I am guessing was for dinner rush...
Read moreThis restaurant has a cozy, calming interior with beautiful walls and nice booths, as well as really convenient bar seating. I went with my family and we ordered the fish and shrimp Tempura, both of which came with veggies and made for really tasty (and filling) appetizers. Then we also got cashew shrimp with rice, stir fry udon, Thai mango shrimp with rice, and 2 avocado/salmon rolls and 2 cream cheese/salmon rolls. We tried a taro boba tea and a strawberry ramuné soda.
Honestly, everything we got was tasty, generously portioned, and worth the price. The service was exceptionally fast, and it was an incredibly satisfying meal. I would highly recommend going here for a casual meal or if you're visiting new smyrna beach and want a place that caters to both the sushi-heads...
