I have been to Peru countless of times (my husband is Peruvian) so I know a lot about Peruvian food therefore donât say these ingredients from the salsas are exported from Peru. Iâve been to a lot of different Peruvian restaurants and Iâve never been charged extra for their salsas. While we were eating there, we asked the waitress if they can sit the people behind us somewhere else because they were literally 2 inches behind our table. So even if you think phase 2 is full capacity (which is not), you still have to practice social distancing!! The waitress did not move them...Keep in mind the whole other side of the restaurant was completely empty. Why not move them over there if we were sitting there first waiting for our food to arrive. We did not feel safe.
Read moreUnfortunately the review is based customer experience. We discovered this place and had delicious food- the chicken and sauces and ceviche are delicious. Came back the next day with my parents. We called ahead twice to confirm their closing time and to confirm they had chicken since it was close to their closing time. Again we called to make sure they had chicken at a chicken place. The young man we spoke to confirmed they of course had chicken even though it was an hour before closing. We do this for two reasons- one it was going to be an hour before closing time. And 2- having been in the food service industry for 10 years and knowing Peruvian chicken it takes a while to make and once they are out they are done especially on a Sunday. We get there to find out they have no chicken. We told them we called and we were assured they had chicken. The waitress then attempted to apologize to tell us next time we need to do this and we need to do that and attempted to shift the blame on us for what I gathered not reserving the chicken ahead of time. I told her we donât need to do anything and that if that were true why the young name who assured us they had chicken didnât warn us and we did our part by calling ahead close to their closing time to make sure our 45 min trip was worth it. Unfortunately this is a result of inexperienced waiters and lack of conscience by the female waitress by...
Read moreWe've been dining at Brazas Chicken since they opened, even when we didn't live just a half-mile away. We drove from east Orange County many times to dine here. Of the last four visits though, the service has been VERY disappointing on three of them. Tonight was the final straw. We won't be back. Let me be clear, the restaurant was not busy. There were two or three other tables and three servers on duty. I think our server only had our table, at least at the end of the meal, they did. We were okay when the server didn't come back to check on us until we were finished with our meal. We were also okay that the server never refilled our water after we ran out a quarter-way into the meal. But, when we asked for a box, received it, and then waited twenty minutes for the check...and, only received it when my husband yelled at the server.... If I had the right change, I would have stiffed the server, but I ended up leaving as much as a good server would receive just so we could get out of the place. Ridiculous, the service we had tonight. The food, as always, was stellar, but we won't chance getting this kind of service again. We're done. Brazas used to be the only Peruvian in town. Not anymore. El Inka...
