Today was Lacey's annual check up and I just wanted to take a few minutes and say thank you to everyone at Salazar Veterinary Hospital! We are so happy that our neighbors recommendation last year turned out so great. There are so many wonderful things about this practice. I love that as soon as you arrive they take you back to the exam room, I love that the facility is so clean and doesn't smell bad (my previous job had me going in and out of a lot of vet offices and there are some truly horrific smelling places around town). I love that everyone is so friendly. I love that pricing options for lab work are explained. I love that Dr Salazar explains everything he is checking and made some suggestions when I asked for advice about introducing our senior cat to her newly adopted "cousin" kitten who recently walked into our son's life. Kitten is also a Salazar patient now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Salazar Veterinary Hospital! We are very happy to have found our new home for veterinary care at Salazar Veterinary Hospital. I called yesterday and our cat was able to be seen today. I was able to complete the new client information online and my husband was very happy to be taken to the treatment room on arrival so there was no waiting in the waiting room...so much less stressful for the cat! It was very reassuring to be able to go inside the practice with our pet. (due to the pandemic our previous vet no longer allows pet owner into the building and visit is handled via phone. Awkward) The staff was very friendly, the office is new and beautiful and so clean. I learned about this practice from a neighbor who is also very happy with them. Glad we took her advice!

I was not going to write a review but I decided tošŸ˜. I initially liked the place, and it especially won me over with the prayer on the wall. But after several visits I felt like the vibe was forced and fake. I’m not working hard and circulating my money to a company to make someone be kind to me. Another huge turn off was unnecessary required test; to me it was an attempt to get extra money. Let’s be real you’re a doctor/Vet you can tell off top by observation what may or may not be wrong to an extent. My little sister has been šŸ‘©šŸ½ā€āš•ļø for a few years, and has told me 9/10 docs already know the issue during observing the patient. Next I was told that my dog had cushing’s disease, and was required to take an expensive test. Of course all to no avail...no cushing’s disease. Too, I didn’t like the fact that they wanted to remove all of Dubai’s 🦷 during her cleaning that was not discussed in visit; to this day the few that they wanted to remove are still doing just fine. I began to research their required vaccines for my dogs. Realizing that some increased certain conditions already present in one of them, or creating more issues. Especially at their senior age. So since then I have gone elsewhere, and started researching, and have been giving my dogs a healthier lifestyle with remedies for allergies, megaesophagus, and digestive issues, amongst other things.

Just took my two 13 year old chihuahuas to Salazar Veterinary Hospital. One of my dogs was not feeling well and the other just needed her check up and shots. Dr. Salazar and the vet techs (I feel terrible not remembering the girls names) were fantastic! So nice and explained everything to myself and my mother who was with me. The price of the services were, to me, more affordable than the previous vet I had been to. I’m so glad they opened up because they are so close to my house and I’m sure my babies will love coming back! I also have to say, that the last time they were at a vet, they did NOT want to go into the exam room but at Salazar’s they walked right in and as you can see were at ease while they waited. That’s gotta say something about the place!

My 6 year old Shih Tzu Toby needed his first surgical dental cleaning. After researching many vets in the area I decided to set up a consult with Dr. Salazar. I had never worked with him or the office before but was impressed by the investment he made into his clinic and was encouraged by all of the great reviews. From the first appointment on, I was equally impressed by how well trained and educated each member of the team is. Dr. Salazar took his time to go over the procedure in great detail with me and thoroughly listed all the ways my pup would be monitored while under the anesthesia. Since it was his first cleaning and I was nervous this really meant a lot to me. The pricing came in right where I expected so no surprises there. Toby's procedure went smoothly, he recovered like a champ and he's back to his full spunkiness so I know he's feeling a lot better and it really upgraded his quality of life. Also I was wowed by the personalized home care instructions I was sent home with for Toby- it was a really nice touch and shows how well they pay attention to detail. This office definitely has it together and I would be comfortable referring family and friends. Thank You Dr....
