So we get on the pizza hut website and order a pizza, drinks, breadsticks, and desserts. Like $34.
Then a few minutes go by and they call and say that we're extremely out of their delivery area, and they can't do an order for us. Just kept saying "you need to call Americana." I asked what that even meant and he just said "you need to call them."
The store it said it was ordering from was a 7 minute drive. Like two streets over. So super not "extremely far" away, and the website listed it specifically as the only store that would deliver.
So I'm like "is that a city? Are you saying I've ordered from a store that isn't in America? I have no idea what americana you're talking about." He still never specified.
So I google and find a store closer, and call them. They say they only do carry out, but they'll transfer me to a store that can help me. This guy apologized for the other store, and was really friendly and professional.
I ask where he was transferring me, and that store was the same store that just said they couldn't help me. So they transfer me to a different store that's supposed to be right up the road. The third store says they can't deliver here and try to transfer me to the original store that wouldn't help. So I call back to the original store and ask for a manager this time.
The manager was extremely rude about the whole thing, and kept saying he would transfer me to the other stores I'd already talked to. Even though I'd already told him that both of them had already tried transferring me back to him saying that his store was the only one that could deliver to this address. Then he says "well buddy you have 2 minutes to place an order somewhere else so good luck." I'd been on the phone with pizza hut stores for half an hour at this point with no help anywhere.
To top it off, they charged our card two times for the order they "cant deliver because it's too far away."
So they literally charged us $68 for a pizza that they never made, and never delivered, that 2 other stores and their website specifically said they should have been able to do.
I've already contacted corporate because this is absolutely ridiculous.

Read moreI experienced horrible service from this place yesterday! My wife and I got home late and decided to order some pizza and wings. Almost 40 minutes later, and about 8 minutes past the expected delivery time... I called them.
Their automated reply told me our food was delivered and of course.... it hadn't. I press whatever to speak to a person. A female gets on and I explained the issue. She places me on hold. Now I get a guy tell me that the driver got confused with my order and brought it back. (How do you get confused???)
Here's what really ticked me off... the guy has the nerve to tell me they tried calling me 5 minutes prior. THAT WAS A LIE! I told him that I had been on hold with them and getting transferred from one person to another for 8 minutes and I asked him to please not lie to me like I'm an idiot. His reply was the most apathetic reply I've ever received. He tells me "well, that's neither here or there. We're making you another order and it'll get there in 30-40 minutes."
That was a horrible reply. I told him to cancel it and make sure I don't get charged. He said "fine" and hung up. That's HORRENDOUS service! This is another reason why I rather pay more from Stone Fire Pizza, a local place that bends over backwards to give their customers great service!

App said food was ready, I live 2 minutes away, arrived and hit the I’m here on the app. Sat in the car for 5 minutes, no one came out to speak to me, however an employee was smoking on the side of the building. I decided to go in, there is a girl with green hair working in the back, a young boy comes to the front and says oh we had a power outage, it should be 5 minutes ok. Ok no problem please bring the pizza out to the car as I ordered curbside. Well, 10 minutes go by I go back inside no one in the front but the girl with green hair is smoking a cigarette outside now. No biggie. No one acknowledges me as I’m inside the store. She comes in ignores me so I say to her may I speak with the manager, she says yes as if she’s the manager. 😳 orders are behind guest are waiting and you are outside smoking a cigarette with no care in the world about the waiting customers who ordered curbside. No apologies from her or anyone in the store. In fact I was told get your pizza and go. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. VERY VWRY DISAPPOINTED.
