Horrible food no wonder they make you pay before. Seriously who can get pancakes 🥞 wrong.... the mix they use for Pancakes nasty! The coffee taste like water, the hot chocolate my kid had was just water and chocolate from a packet. First time coming here and I'm sitting waiting for coffee and after I get the food is that the girl who brought food tells me oh you have to go get it. I took the food in a doggie bag exactly for that for the dog because I spent money and not one moment they got the food right my man had to keep asking for the rest of the food. He ordered omelet and the girl would say what else would you need .....well duh the rest of the food where is my home fries with omelet she would say "oh yea I forgot", would come and bring just that and forget that the order brings, bacon and so forth with each side. Anyone and everyone seeing this review can check my previous review...GUESS WHAT ...I haven't hardly done any because even if it hasn't been the best I just don't go back and I know they are mediocre ....and never go back. BUT THIS WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD , IT TOOK AWAY FROM MY SUNDAY FAMILY TIME AND CHURCH TIME. And SOOOO BAD THAT I ACTUALLYT TOOK THE TIME TO WRITE A REVIEW... NOT WORTH IT AT ALLL..... DON'T KNOW HOW THEY ARE IN BUSINESS.....WORST MOMENT OF MY LIFE....unfortunately would never forget this experience in a bad way.... this was disgusting and it was breakfast how can you seriously get...

I’ve been going to Shannon’s since I was a little girl and my family even before that. Some of my most fond memories were made at this place. My great great aunt worked at the school supplies store in this plaza and my great grandmother down the street, my grandma would take us four (herself, my great grandmother and my sister) to meet my great great aunt after work. We excitedly would order the same dishes as always fill up our sodas and get yelled at not to spill as we’d pick our favorite colored seats at the table. I remember thinking how fantastic all the decor was, and seeing a few from the local high school I was eventually going to go to. Even when my great grandad passed we went, even when my great gram passed we went, no matter the weather we’d go, eventually it became less often as we got older but I still love stopping by for a nice hot meal and see the same familiar faces. I know this isn’t a spot that may get some tourist attention, but I urge anyone who stops by the Orlando area to take some time to step in for lunch or dinner, get anything (it’s all good honestly, that’s not just the nostalgia talking, it’s filling and made with care) and make sure to grab a desert too! This place is amazing and it means the world to me. Even if my dad told me the piano was haunted once, I’ll stop by any chance I can. We thought it would be a cute place for an early lunch/late breakfast because none of the other places in the same mall area were open. We should have just waited for one of the other restaurants. The service was extremely slow, we got our food 30 minutes after the other places were already open! and our "sausage gravy" and biscuits were the worst we have had to date. It is truly record breaking as i thought it wasnt possible. No, really... I didn't think it was possible. Pure uncooked flour and milk and chopped up patties. No flavor at all wall paper paste... it tasted pasty or reminded me of plaster of paris! It made for a gloppy thick stark white mess. The biscuits were microwaved unfortunately as they had that unmistakable chew and the wrinkled surface.. tasting old and somewhat stale. The other meal our party member had was a grilled chicken sandwich and it truly was another joke. Dry dirty grill debris and the bun was old.

And no we didn't complain, just ate what we could and paid and left. We had places to go in the area and just didn't feel it was worth worrying about. Seems folks there enjoyed their food choices but what we saw, we do not think we would have shared that enjoyment. In general it was not a clean establishment and obviously did rush "renovation " and subpar painting to make it look presentable. We won't be back, no worries on that and I'm sure they have a following...
