Really very good. I booked a reservation thru Resy and made a note that I requested a table near the fireplace - they actually read the note (not all restaurants do) and accommodated my request without making any fuss or saying anything. Kudos. Service by Ibrahim was exemplary. He’s a professional - funny, attentive, knowledgeable on the menu, quick…everything you want in a server. The restaurant is lucky to have him on their team. My guest and I had the arugula salad (10 out of 10), Screpelle Soup (8/10 - it was first served barely lukewarm; I told one of the food runners/servers…he thanked me for telling him, apologized, and scurried off to heat up the soup - once it returned it was PERFECT…I’ll be dreaming about that soup for a while). Bread basket was ok. At first, only very small end pieces of crusty Italian bread…but we asked for more and they delivered. GOOD olive oil and cheese for the bread. Entrees: chicken massimo (wow - 10 out of 10), and chicken saltimbocca (8 out of 10 - lacked flavor; I would have liked more prosciutto for salt, and the sauce could have used something to kick it up a bit; maybe a squeeze of lemon, I don’t know, but it was somewhat flat). We were too full for dessert. The place was packed on this Sunday evening, and for good reason. Happy to support this local, small business with owners who are hands on. Download Resy and make reservations - you’ll need them.

Over $150 for dinner with very inedible food. Prime rib special only had 4 good bites with no fat. The rest was all fat and inedible. The veal shop was heavily charred and that’s all I could taste. With the fat and bone I could not cut into to it to eat it because all I can taste was char (very black-ordered it medium) from where they cooked it all. It looked fatty, tough to bite into and again very inedible food. Now I can understand why it was not busy for a Wednesday night. How this restaurant could get away charging its prices for very inedible food ? Highway robbery ? Let me tell you…I could not live with myself charging these prices and serving this slop of a mess…Cannot wait to tell this story to many people…especially my friends that once appraised this place! I was shaking my head how they won best restaurant in the area reading the sign on the way out. I did ask the waitress if the mashed potatoes were plain, she said yes. Well, they were not plain and they were more like Mac and cheese mashed potatoes. Clumpy and very orange with no good flavor to them. Couldn’t wait to get out of there. We did not want to go home since we were both hungry. We stopped at another restaurant and then went home. Skip this place. Do yourself and your wallet favor. Very disappointed and will definitely never return unless it’s for a funeral luncheon.

My husband and I went out for a Friday night without our kids we decided to sit at the bar to eat. We where first greeted by Ryan a bartender who took our order. Halfway through our meal we asked for a Wine list and ordered a merlot through Kristen the other bartender whom was working that night. She cAme back and said our first choice was out of stock so we ordered a Cline Zinfandel. We purposefully ordered a lower priced wine as the wine list wAs quite extensive with wines priced from 30-700 $ a bottle. As Kristen was opening the bottle right in front of us she said to Ryan “ splurging 38 " which was the price of the bottle of wine we bought. I think she thought we didn't hear her. This was such a insult and very upsetting to hear. I don't care if i just ordered a bowel of soup no one should be treated like that in a restaurant especially from the staff. She should not be in the service industry if 2 people spending 154$ on dinner is not good enough for her. That she feels compelled to comment in front of the customer "Splurging 38". Avoid this place unless u want to be mistreated and insulted. Disgraceful experience!

Visited this establishment with my family on 5/8/22 for Mother's Day. We were warmly welcomed by the host staff who brought us to our table as we had a reservation. The servers and wait staff were very attentive & professional. A lovely gentleman by the name of Massimo Fazzina who is the General Manager of La Locanda Ristorante who stopped by our table who politely asked us a favor if we would move to another table because of a large party they needed it for, we said no problem, he's such a great guy and was so awesome with my family and I. Now to the service and the food, everybody was so nice and we had freshly baked bread which was perfect with olive oil & grated cheese for dipping and the Food was outstanding at the establishment as it was at the catered events I've been to. My mom and my sister had glasses of wine and we all started off with two starters to share, the roasted artichokes were roasted to perfection with the sauteed garlicky greens, remarkable and the fried calamari was delicious, but I would like to see a better coating and have tentacles along with the rings but overall great. Then the 4 of us ordered our entrees I had my choice set on the Linguine w/ cockles but it wasn't offered so I had the veal marsala which was expertly prepared tender melt in your mouth veal scallopini thinly sliced and with a rich and flavor marsala wine & crimini mushroom sauce w/ sauteed green beans & a rich potato mash that both my father and I had, we both enjoyed our dishes. My mom had the Fettuccine Bolognese which she absolutely loved and my sister enjoyed her penne alla vodka, she's an vegetarian so she wasn't aware that it had prosciutto in it and removed the pieces from her dish, other than that she enjoyed it. We absolutely had the best time at La Locanda Ristorante. As a culinarian & foodie I Highly Recommend this establishment! Tell them...

Last night a group of us had dinner at your “fine dining” restaurant – at least that was what I had heard! The service was unacceptable. The waiter was on roller skates. He threw the bread on the table accompanied by a very small plate of roasted peppers (we were 8 and there was enough for 1 piece each). He ignored our request for more. We asked for oil for the bread and were given a large bottle of oil – we asked for grated cheese and he threw down two little plates beside each other on the table. No specials were given. He did not know what dishes we had ordered and we had to identify what plate was ours.

Surely, in a “fine” restaurant the waiter would have coded each person’s choice and given the plates to the correct person.! Trying to get a second drink was difficult. Dishes and glasses were swiped away before everyone had finished. Eventually, one person was still eating and the table was cleared of almost everything. Any take home portions were poured into the take home boxes in the same manner as you would empty plates into the garbage – it was pretty gross and the remaining diner was so disgusted that she couldn’t finish her meal.

We were discussing how much tip we should give him as none of us wanted him to have the, now usual, 20%. He had shown no interest in us and, in fact, treated us as if he was doing us a favour by even serving us. When the bill came we found that he had added (in ink) 20%. We didn’t want to make a scene so we paid it.

I know that La Laconda has a very good reputation but last night made us see you in a very different light. We all live locally and some of the party dine regularly at your “fine dining” establishment. I do not know how this will change because this very bad experience has left a bad taste in our mouths.

I do not remember the waiter’s number but we were seated in the porch area and we were a...

Be warned, keep your receipt and check your credit card charge because they won’t match! !!!The waitress or someone in the restaurant manually added extra $10 dollars on the tips, what a joke! This is a pure fraud, I am sooo surprised for a such highly rated restaurant to scam people like this.

Just to update for what I have been through with this restaurant: I called in Monday after I found out they overly charged me, and I was told that they are too busy, and I need to give them a call back on Wednesday. I have asked them to talk to the server and gave me a call back on Wednesday, and left my phone number. Feb 14th(Wednesday), patiently waited for an explanation from the restaurant, and got nothing, no call no explanations or anything. I gave them a call today at Feb 15th, the manager looked into the bill and told me this is a mistake they charged my $18.7 as the tip instead of $8.7, and refunded me $10. Since I have contacted my credit card company on Feb 12 to open investigation, and I was asked to contact the restaurant and obtain the receipt, so I have asked for the receipt because I am also very curious to see how this is even possible to mistake it for $18.7 instead of $8.7, manager refused to provide me the receipt and told me that they can only provide it to the credit card company. So now you see what to avoid, save your money and time because they could easily ruin your anniversary and your experience’! What if you didn’t pay attention to the credit card charges, I don’t respect the attitude , and this kinda of “out of...
