I used to work for Edina noodles and all was well. The co workers - well most of them - was very fun and really nice and caring and sweet. When I first started it was great but then I saw that all the workers hours were steady every week I was the only one that hours kept going up and down everywhere. It got to a point where I was working 3 days a week 5pm - 8:30pm on those three days and that wasn't cool considering the fact that others was getting 30 hours a week and basically getting whatever they wanted, also what started happening is that I started getting sent home early whenever I worked by this one shift leader named ( Jennifer meloney ) there. And she is one lazy person. Whenever she would work she would be on expo Everytime she work. She was ALWAYS on expo. She would serve if she HAD to. Other than that she would stay still JUST doing expo. And if there was a problem with machine or something she would call manager but wouldn't even try and fix herself first. But anyways she would always use me to go home first. All the time. And she would treat her friend that she used to work with before they worked at noodles ( Rachel Simonson ) with favoritism and always make her stay just to get a ride from her. And one day she asked can I go home early and she know I don't be wanting to go home early but I have no other choice because of labor mind you - she could ask someone else but chose me - but anyway I said okay and I asked is Rachel going home early too cause someone else was closing not me and Jennifer said yeah and I stayed on purpose until 9 acting like I was waiting for bus ( really I was but was waiting for bus that come around 9:24 ) so I waited and turns out Rachel never left home early instead left around 9 when store closed. Now if I would have left I would have left around 8;00 which was the time Jennifer asked me to go home early. Now let me tell y'all a little bit about Rachel Simonson. - whenever she would work she would always bring her phone up there and be on it mind you - we can't have phones up there but some still do it I be having my phone in the back. - but anyways she would always be on the phone and also she would always be just standing there either on register or on expo. She don't sweep, shark, wip tables NOTHING that involves you moving all of your body parts instead of your arms and hands. All she do is stand up front. One day I was closing and I wanted everyone to do their lost right cause if they do I would get out early cause I would have my list all done once store closes. We need all do our list right. So she crossed out bathrooms and she saw me look at list so I went to go check bathroom and ( the trash was taken out the counter wasnt wiped down and the mirror wasn't wiped ) no nothing bathroom looked like it been dirty for a while. So I go to shift leader first and tell him which is Ben he is assistant manager but was shift leader that night and he said go to tell her first that she didn't do bathrooms but crossed it out so I went to go tell her and she get attitude and said she at register person at register need to stay in front and I told her I'm on register too. It's two people on register so while I stay up here you can go do your list RIGHT, and she talking back hasitating to go do it and finally she did and I check them against and garbages wasn't taken out still - so I go to her and tell her can she take them out nicely ( mind you I have bad temper and impatient she was pushing it she really was but yet I stayed light and happy about it ) and she got attitude and said " don't tell me how to do my job " and all I said was garbages was not taken out and she gonna get mad. Come on now really ... Lol so then I got irritated cause no one talks to me like that I don't care who the person is and I asked nicely too not mean or with attitude like voice so I did them myself and just ignored her for the night. Anyway you guys my point is Edina noodles had bad management skills. Cause they wouldn't let me stay but keep two lazy people like Jennifer and...
Read moreI generally do not write negative reviews, but the authority and people should know and be aware. I have a wonderful experience with Nood and Company Eden Prairie, and Knollwood I must say. But Edina one is horrible, in terms of behavior of the Manager (can't' recall his name); a tall, fat and black/brown mix guy. He is unbelievably impolite and Lier. Yesterday for the first time we visited the Edina brunch, we ordered two kinds of noodles and kept waiting at least 25 minutes for the food but when the order came it was clearly the wrong noodles. The waitress took it back though she was not ready to admit that she brought the wrong food. She left and kept the food on the counter for more than 10 mins, I went to check and was asking how long it's goanna take to replace? No one was responding, the Manager was standing in front of me but trying to ignore, the waitress was taking order of another man, so I did not check with her. At one point the Manager turned around and without being apologetic he responded with negligence and unclearly. Later we got annoyed with their service and specially with the behavior; and my husband returned the other food we were given. They were supposed to change 1 noodle, the other one was kept on the table. When we returned the food and was asking for refund definitely, we were annoyed with their behavior, so we kept the tray of the food with anger, nothing else. The Manager asked us to leave when we asked either good behavior or refund. He threatened us and said he will call 911. He called the cops and accused us that we are throwing food on him and physically assaulted him, literally he was lying in front of our face. My husband was standing calmly and said let the cops come and I will ask them to watch the CCTV footage then everything will be cleared. When the cops denied coming as it was not an emergency or anything serious, the Manger gave us the refund. It was not about 20 dollars it was about his non apologetic and arrogant behavior that we felt insulted. We could have taken action against this guy but instead we moved because we had previous good experience with other two brunches of Noodles and Company. The first time ever in my life I experienced this in a restaurant or anywhere. I wish the authority will take this seriously and arrange training on customer service for their new and old staffs....
Read moreI should have read the reviews about this location before going there today. My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch. I got the macaroni and cheese which came out fine and he ordered one of the newer zoodle bowls. About halfway through his lunch he pulled out a hair. It was small - kind of looked like an arm hair, but nonetheless a hair is a hair. I brought the hair and his remaining food up to the counter to ask if we can just get a small order of the same thing so he could finish eating. The cashier said “are you sure it was hair and not a string from your clothes? Like a thread?” I assured her it’s a hair and politely asked again if we could just get a small bowl of the same thing so we can finish lunch. She said sure and I walked away. When I got back to the table my boyfriend informed me that he watched the girl hand the bowl to the cook and explained what happened to which the cook rolled his eyes and said, out loud, “he should have just eaten it” and then they laughed. So I asked another employee that was emptying the trashes if the manager was there. He said he was so I asked if I could speak with him. While waiting for the manager which took a good five minutes for him to come out - all the employees were on the back obviously talking and two came back out and stared and glared at us. The manager finally came over to our table and I told him what happened and said that it wasn’t okay. His response = “no it’s not okay” and he walked away. No sorry. No nothing. I wasn’t looking for a refund or a credit. Just wanted to be able to eat the lunch I paid for without having hair in it. At this point we still hadn’t gotten the replacement food and after that comment by the cook we wouldn’t eat it anyway. We ended up just getting up and leaving. Also - I couldn’t help but notice how high the manager was which is probably why I got the response I got. He really seemed to not care at all. I now know to just stick with the location on 77th in Richfield because I have yet to have a single...
