I visited this place for the first time for an early birthday celebration with family. The service and atmosphere were great! They took the cake we brought and put it in their fridge in the back. They asked for my name and how it was spelled. I didn't know why they needed it but it didn't matter and so I obliged. (It makes sense why they asked at the end)
The food all looked and tasted amazing. Great portion sizes on all the dishes my family ordered. My one small complaint is that it seemed their green spaghetti and chicken plate had 1/2 the amount of their chicken Alfredo dish that one of my family members got. It still tasted great, but the portion difference was extremely noticeable. They were both served in the same type of deep dish, so it wasn't like perhaps it looked like they served my family member more.
After we were done eating, they turned off the lights and stopped the music. That got all of our attention, and for a second, I thought we were getting kicked out, lol. Then they start playing "Las Mañanitas" and bring out the cake with a personal sign that displayed my name to everyone and wishing me a happy birthday. They gave me a light up sparkler, put a crown on me, and all sang happy birthday to me. I was not expecting them to go all out like that. This was by the restaurant people, mind you. My family or I did not have to ask for this. It was an amazing touch, and I very much appreciated it!
I'll try to post a video when they turn the lights out and music down. The video doesn't do it justice, and I also have to mention that it was much darker inside than what it appears on...
Read moreOur recent visit to this establishment was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had, especially considering the price we paid. Despite everything, we still tipped generously—because that’s simply who we are. Unfortunately, our server, Candy, did not come close to earning it.
From the moment we were seated, it was clear that hospitality was not part of her agenda. Instead of serving us with even a hint of care or professionalism, Candy repeatedly tossed food and drinks at our table, as if she was mad at us, and we were not at a sit-down brunch that came with a premium price tag. She put salsa on our table but refused to give us chips, saying that people eat chips and leave afterward without paying for anything.
We were in the center of the restaurant where the people in booths on either side could look over at us. It was a strange setup.
The food itself was nothing to write home about—basic at best, yet inexplicably overpriced. And while the restaurant seems to thrive on the whole "birthday brunch" gimmick, it felt like smoke and mirrors. For $13, we received a small dessert that wasn’t even offered as a complimentary gesture. Honestly, we could’ve brought our own fancy sparkler candle and created more joy and ambiance ourselves.
If you’re looking for quality service, fair pricing, and an actual sense of celebration, you’re better off looking elsewhere. We won’t be back—and we won't likely recommend it to...
Read moreWe stopped by for our first time visit on Black Friday, so it wasn't a busy day. I think they are usually busy on the weekends. The service was great. It's a charming little spot. The decor is really modern and beautiful. They serve chips and salsa and the chips were very tasty and salty. The salsas were good too, but a fair warning they are very spicy. I ordered entomatadas with extra sauce. The dish was satisfying and the sauce was very flavorful. My husband ordered the enchiladas mole. He enjoyed it. He also ordered a cucumber lemonade, and it was refreshing and not too sugary. They have a very nice set up for the bar, that's for sure. The cocktail menu looked lovely. My kids split a chocolate cake and it was good, the bread was a little dry though. Also one thing I was looking forward to was their variety of desserts. We did not see them this day, I'm not sure if they only serve the big varieties on the weekends, but that for me was slightly disappointing. But other than that the experience was nice and the presentation of the food...
