Giving some context to my review post reply- I have absolutely no affiliation with this franchise. I don’t know anyone that works or has ever worked at this establishment. I did not write anything in my initial review because I did not feel I needed to repeat what was already said and what was my same experience, based on the most recent reviews. I have been a loyal customer of bb.q chicken for quite some time now, I absolutely love the food, so much so I have dinned in at multiple locations across the country, so when I found out we were getting one down here, I have been a semi regular customer since this location opened. I have gotten food for myself and my family on numerous occasions, but have never had the chance to sit and dine in at this location. Unfortunately it was not the experience we were expecting, especially not myself who has been other locations and thought I knew what to expect. Based on the.. replies from the owners, it seems as though you guys have been having a rough time adjusting? I read this location has been taken over by new owners fairly recently and apparently on the day I visited, you all possibly also let go of people? So maybe we caught y’all on a bad day But as someone who has worked in the food industry, especially under a “made fresh not fast” food restaurant, I understand the stressors that comes with it, but I am also very aware that customer service and professionalism is one of the key factors in the restaurant business as well. Unfortunately these are things I felt were lacking in my experience here, both in person and from your reply. I've eaten here before and enjoyed everything. The customer service used to be A1. The greeting when you enter made you feel welcome. However today was not the case. I took my daughter here today, because I had been bragging about how good the food was and the atmosphere. Really wanted her to indole in the Kimche fried rice I was speaking so highly of. Well we walked in, the bell went off, and none acknowledged us besides the customers who were already eating. Mind you the counter is literally right in front of the door. There's about 5 to 6 workers there. None ever seated us, greeted us or even asked how we would be dining. We stood there for a minute, then decided well maybe they'll come to us so we say at the first table so they wouldn't miss us. As we say down another couple walked in not when a minute behind us. They were greeted, told to sit whenever then server looked at me and my daughter was she walked to get the menus, and proceeded past us as if she never saw us. Took the OTHER couples order. I held my composure while letting her know about the disrespect. Then we politely left. I can't spend none of my money where I can't be acknowledged. So if you're skin color is a little darker than most, and you like I Korean bbq, steer clear of the one off of Trenton if you want to have a pleasant experience,. I'll never go back to that one again! And I advise anyone who's of a darker skin tone same yourself the hassle find another Korean bbq because this one ain't it!...

Just had my dentist appointment and got out of work so I was starving finally decided to try this place, I had previously tried to eat here on a Friday night but it was packed, today there was only 1 table being used. The servers quickly sat me down and warned me that their food is made to order so might take a minimum of 25 minutes, to me this is a good sign let’s me know they take pride in their food and it’s fresh, I asked her to give me 10 minutes to look over the menu, I’ve eaten at Korean bbq and chicken places in Carrollton TX, but it was my first time trying this franchise, she promptly came in 10 min and kindly asked if I needed more time, I gave her my order, the food was fresh and so flavorful and the presentation was beautiful,the rice cakes in rose flavor was my favorite!!!! The chicken was super crunchy yet soft at the same time was easy to eat with my braces.The waitress would check on me often in a polite manner and they were very kind, the restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms.
