Playa Bowls — Restaurant in Edison

My experience with this particular place was really weird. I m 8 months pregnant and I really use to love going to playa bowls to enjoy fresh carrot juice. One day when I visited this place i ordered my usual drink and I happen to see the person who is making my order is sneezing continuously he is not wearing mask that’s ok as given the explanation that he is vaccinated but my point was that he is still sneezing and I m pregnant if u can please ask someone else to make my order that would be much appreciated. They ended ruining my order and giving me stale orange juice (I did not order orange juice) which was so bitter that no one would ever drink it. That day I knew their level of customer service which was not acceptable. I really wish my simple request would have been treated in a much better way and I never had to stop going...

I ordered from this store through DoorDash. The staff is unprofessional. If I could give it 0 stars I would I was missing an item and called about getting it I offered to pick it up as my order has already been delivered. I said I would remain in my car If someone could bring it out to me and leave it by my car. The girl on the phone told me no one would want to bring it out to me if I have Covid. How discriminated against should I feel it’s not like I’m asking you to hand it to me. Leave it on the floor and I’ll get it once you walk away. I mean I paid for it. I never received my item or a refund she said I would be getting before hanging up on me. I’ve called back since and now magically they’re phones don’t work! I even asked if there was a manager I could speak to and she said no! I’ve never felt more ripped...

I worked here and it was one of the worst places I have ever been employed. I was fired for wanting to visit my sick brother in the hospital even though I found another employee to cover my shift. The owner is a b** and is not fit to be in charge of any establishment or an employer at all. Would give 0 stars if I could. If you notice, when the owner responds to negative reviews on here she tells unhappy customers to send her an email, but doesn’t even provide an email, just “[email]” way to show that you just copy and paste your responses and don’t even bother to re read them to check for any mistakes! The owner is an absolute joke. Has no clue how to run a business. Steer clear from this location! Would recommend New Brunswick or East Brunswick as better locations...
