City Bites — Restaurant in Edmond

Came here today, June 19th 2022, at around 2:20pm. We ordered one California melt with no tomato and one California club with no mayonnaise at the drive thru. We received 2 California melts and no club, so I called and asked if it could be remade before driving back to the location. Whoever I spoke to on the phone (didn’t give a name) told me I could get the sandwich I paid $12 for if I could get there “in time” as it as about 5 minutes before closing when I called. This alone irks me because as a restaurant, customer service should be one of your top priorities and telling a customer they need to rush to get their food that you messed up on is just wrong. Then, I get there to pick up the corrected order and there’s still an entire family eating in the restaurant but the “open” sign is turned off and a sign in front of the doors as if the staff just itching to close the restaurant. It was literally exactly 3 o’clock (their Sunday closing time), I watched the clock change from 2:59 to 3:00 as I pulled in. I certainly don’t expect you all to stay open well past closing, but again, it’s just not good customer service to discourage customers from coming in and to close with patrons still eating. To top it all off, I get home and my sandwich is lathered in mayonnaise even though I had told the person on the phone that mayonnaise is the only thing I want removed from the sandwich. The food is good but the wait staff is very rude like they were forced to work with their customers. Some were more engrossed in their cell phone than helping customers as if who ever they were texting on their phone was more important than their customers. When they had to engage and talk to the customers the kid working the register he shouted at my wife when she reached out for a cookie sitting out on the tray she wanted and didn’t know they have to get the cookie. they had the cookies out on the counter. He Yelled mean and very rudely “ Don’t Touch the Cookies!” She grabbed one that was sitting on the corner away from other cookies. She thought they were available to pick. The way the kid handled it was not professional. Yelling at the customer. Then he stopped helping me got on his phone and was texting someone then gave me my total picked up his phone and texted again then looked at me asked me what I wanted just totally clueless his phone text conversation was more important then his customer. The service was slow just an all around awful experience will not be back at this City Bites and highly do not recommend giving this location any business. They have horrible people working at...

If there was a minus five star I would give it this place has its head clear up its %#% the kids they have running places like this don’t know customer service the management is clearly untrained. I placed an order you know real simple. Soup and a sandwich and a cookie for my sick wife got all the way home it’s all wrong call them up after working 12 hours today and they said I’m sorry 😢 you can drive back up here and we can make it right. If this place is the only place open at the End of the world I still wouldn’t go I would rather eat a dead skunk that’s been sitting in the middle of a maggot infested dump site. End of Rant I...
