The food, oh the food! It's nothing short of amazing. Each dish is a burst of flavors, so rich and succulent that it's evident the chefs are not just cooking but creating art. The menu, though modest, is thoughtfully curated to cater to a variety of tastes. One of the standout features for me is their Mexican Cokes - a perfect, nostalgic beverage that pairs wonderfully with every meal and elevates the dining experience.
Speaking of meals, it's not just the food that makes Gyro House special, it's the heart and soul poured into every dish. The owner, a passionate chef, works tirelessly in the kitchen, ensuring that each plate that leaves the kitchen is a reflection of their dedication and love for food. This personal touch is rare and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.
Customer service here is exceptional. The staff are friendly, attentive, and have a way of making you feel right at home. They're knowledgeable about the menu and are more than happy to make recommendations, which is always a plus.

Read moreHusband and I went here looking forward to a new regular restaurant to add to our weekly rotation.
Food was great. Service from the younger gentleman at the register…not so much. He wasn’t rude but wasnt friendly. As soon as you open the door to walk in they holler, “Here or take out? What’s your order?” It’s kinda weird especially when you’re new. They were out of two drinks my husband had asked for, no big deal, it happens. But he got my husband’s order wrong after repeating it all back to him (same as mine, gyro combo - gyro, fries, drink). My husband asked, “Didn’t mine come with fries, too?” The younger gentleman said in a gruff way, “You ordered a sandwich.” My husband was letting it slide, but I spoke up and said, “He ordered the same thing as me. He got the combo.” Husband said, “It’s fine.” Me - “No, it isn’t. You shouldn’t have to pay more for nothing.” After awhile, a gentleman from the back had come out and brought my husband his fries & apologized. If it wasn’t for him, we definitely wouldn’t be going back. The food was so good, we might give it one more try,...

When I got there, I had to call my friend to get her order and place both. Only after the food was made did they tell me I'd also have to pay again for both, and to trust that the original cost would be refunded.
They also only had 1 person waiting AND bussing all of their tables, taking payments, and handling to-go, during a lunch rush. This meant tables were dirty and other people were waiting for their food for a while. When the issues happened with my order, the manager didn't come out; he made the same 1 person give me all the bad news.
When I finally got to eat my food, it was 100% not worth the cost. $4 for 1 stale cannoli, $5 for cold limp wimpy fries, and $10 for a half-full gyro...
