McDonald's — Restaurant in Effingham

My husband and 3 young daughters stopped in after a long day on Aug. 23rd, 2025 @ 8:30pm. The restaurant was mostly empty except for a large party at the tall table. The man on the end facing the door that we entered had a large section of his buttocks exposed. He moved around a bit on his chair and to our shock had his bare buttocks on the chair and his complete crack exposed. An employee was also sitting at this table. After a few minutes of such a grotesque view, an employee came in from the front door after a curbside. I waved him over and pointed the man out and said "is than not indecent exposure or what? Why is that allowed?" He said nothing but walked over to the man and told him to cover up. I realized that the large party was off duty employees and some on duty. Meanwhile our food was just fine but the group later moved to the counter and congregated being quite loud and using profanities that we easily heard. In the midst of it all was the guy with the pants hanging under his buttocks, bare bottomed with just his sheer white shirt to prove that, loosely covering his bum (I hope) sitting on the countertop. How unsanitary the chair and the countertop is at this point. And to think this guy works there. What kind of unsanitary food preparation is going on behind the scenes? If his pants are down that far where you can clearly see his anus, you know it's down that far in the front- no boxers, no nothing, just in the raw. This McDonalds is a frequent stop when we are in town. My stomach is sick and its so disturbing. We'll just go next door to Wendy's from here on out, we love Frosty's anyway. So got some breakfast this morning and I'm very disappointed in the service and experience I had here..so here is how it went: we went inside as it was a large order and we never get the right order in drive thru, anyways they still managed to screw it up TWICE!! We were charged TWICE for one order and somehow it was $60.00!! Yes it was a large order but no where near $60.00 large! One of the coffees we ordered tasted like it was spoiled and even tho we placed the order 2 times they still didnt give us the right food. Only part of the order was right and all of the food was cold or soggy. My picante packets were warmer than my burrito, just to give you an idea of how cold the food was. My husband described his as just a step above being frozen.. On top of all of that we were there for almost an hour waiting for our order!! Fast food it wasnt!! I could have went to denny's and had a better sit down breakfast for as long as it took this place!! And I should have!! I didnt even realize how much it cost until I checked my bank account online and seen it. So long story short, I will NEVER be going to this McDonald's again EVER!! I do not recommend this place!! Run far far away from it!! The one with the gas station attached is 10x's better and it still sucks!! This place was a joke!! I hate having to leave reviews but this experience warranted one!! We stopped by this Mc Donalds location with an hour before my husband had to be to work. We wanted to visit and have a snack. The lobby was empty. Three young men were working and one had a very foul mouth dropping the f word frequently. They were being loud and obnoxious. Not professional behavior while working. The manager was on a break sitting in the lobby on his phone and eating. He said nothing to them. After 15 minutes our coffee was brought out. He set it down and walked away and said nothing to us, so I stopped him and asked about our food. It took nearly 25 minutes to get our two fries and one mc chicken sandwich. Meanwhile, car after car was going through the drive-through. Our food was fresh when we got it. But there was no apology for our food taking so long to be served to us. Had to hurry and scarf our food down so my husband wouldn't be late for work at this point.
