Subway — Restaurant in Effingham

Food is just fine but whoever that Krystal lady is either needs retrained in customer service or needs employment elsewhere. She was very rude to the lady in front of me today (12/19/23) who ordered just like everyone else. For some reason this customer was treated unlike everybody else in line and to be frank, looked embarrassing on the employees part. I normally love the staff at this Subway but today was not pleasant. I paid for a drink with my meal but when I went to the fountain the diet Coke had an out of order sign. Nothing else was calorie free except unsweetened tea. I asked for a refund and they acted very unpleasant about having to get the manager, etc. Perhaps a sign could have been posted at the register or the cashier could have warned people that diet Coke...

I feel like it must be a frustrating place to work, because the last several times I’ve been to this particular subway I have one very cheerful person take my money and one very rushed employee kinda toss the food bag at me and run away without saying a word. Since it’s been different employees every time, I think the problem is either I’m an obnoxious customer, or the employees are set up to fail....
