THIS PLACE! Been to a few breakfast places in the area each time we come to AC. Value - check +++ Flavor - check ++ Customers - check ++ Service - check +++ Slipped into a small shopping center. Plenty of parking. Found this place by looking at reviews and the 5 star reviews can all be believed. The pros all overshadow the cons but I will mention the unavoidably small bathrooms. If you are large and in charge, you may have a tight fit in these 3.5 foot-wide rooms. Portions were shocking. SOS was not just a dollop on some toast, but we had to actually LOOK for the toast in the gravy. A sausage egg sandwich here has 2 eggs and 2 sausage patties but let me slip in a suggestion here to butter grill the brioche roll. The breakfast sampler - Edge to edge food! Patty - you made our morning. Witty and quick to notice and suggest what se wait staff would just gloss over (crispy means flash fry our scrapple bites). Coffee always full and her coworker also checked on us. Other customers also engaged with us through out. A nice sign of good people in the area!

Amazing time today at the Towne & Country Cafe. Our sever Libby has a welcoming smile and warm personality towards every one of the customers. This exceptional attitude is something rarely seen these days. The blueberry pancakes were light and fluffy , no need for syrup. Two eggs sunny-side with fried home fries and rye toast were great! Pastrami Rueben open face served hot with coleslaw, fries, and pickle reminded me of the “down homer” diners. A great place where old and new coexist. Special thank you to Steve for providing a tremendous location in EHT !! We will always be back to visit when in the area!

You can tell locals love this place. We picked it for dinner on Friday night, I tried the special, chicken pot pie, which was delicious, definitely home made. Hubby got the burger, also good choice. It's byob and cozy. Not fancy but comfortable. They don't skimp and use quality products. Worth a visit, we are going back to try the prime rib. (The table across from us ordered it and it looked amazing).

The food, portions and prices were quite good but overall not so good. I came with my friend who grew up near here and used to frequent the cafe many years ago. It's nothing special in terms of atmosphere and location and it's irritating that here, as with so many other restaurants, has giant tv's blaring sports...sports AND background music. Why can't we get the option of none of that or keep the noise in one room and quiet in the other, but to have tv and music in both rooms? Coffee was good, the breakfast menu was extensive, very reasonable and every day many specials are offered which is a real plus, especially for a small place. My friend's meal of blintzes, was served quickly and she liked it but all I got was toast which got cold while waiting.....and waiting for my meal. A group of four sat down next to us, got served way before my meal came...and I waited and waited...and the toast got cold. Finally after the people at the other table were enjoying their meal and my friend had finished her meal...mine finally came after I asked why they who arrived long after us had already been served. The waitress finally said "Yours will be out in a minute" but no apology or explanation. I got a big tasty Spanish omelet, albeit cooked a little too runny for my liking, but it was good--and the portion was huge with a huge serving of home fries--some of which were blackened and overcooked, but the waitress did bring me new toast. Yay. Strange--is not it? It seemed that they deliberately held up my order. Nobody explained anything, nobody apologized, nobody offered to make it up in any way. Even with big portions and reasonably good and well-priced food, I won't go back. I really don't care for the big screen sports and background noise and the bathroom could have been a lot cleaner. A restaurant can always get backed up and I can understand, but they did not seem short-staffed and other guests got served before me. Come on--if a customer is made to wait and wait--especially in light of the other circumstances described above--offer to make it up to the customer! Some way! Any way and It could have been made much more pleasant, but when I saw a waitress sneeze just outside the kitchen without covering her mouth or going to wash her face and hands I should probably have left. Thus 4 stars for food even with the burnt potatoes and 1 and 2 stars for everything else. It could easily have been four stars for everything had they been more...

I wanted to share my experience from this morning when we dined in your establishment. Recommended by my sister that lives in the area. When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere. There were 3 of us and we were looking for a 4 top. Only a 6 top was clean. They then asked us to move to a 4 top after it got cleaned. We obliged. After waiting for her to clean the table and then take our drink order 10 minutes had past. When she brought us our 2 teas and 1 coffee, that ended up being just warm., she forgot my water and the Splenda that I told her I would need with my tea. 2 of us were servers and we know they were busy so we didn't complain. When our server brought our food, I was floored. My sister had ordered the hot sausage and it was cut into half and burnt to a crisp. You were unable to taste any meat. The home fries were white and charred burnt on the bottom, inedible and inexcusable. She then saif she was going to bring the toast. As we waited the 10 minutes for the toast, she brought it to the table and it was hot bread (not toasted) I was insisting my sister send it back but she refused. She did however ask for it to be heated up. Which was delivered barely warm. The coffee and tea were not offered to be refilled. I had to ask. Those 2 were delivered hot. I understand the server is not the cook, however you can look at that plate and see that it was nothing but a charred mess. I sat there very upset for my sister and i asked for her breakfast to be taken off the bill. ( this is something i never do) the server started she would talk to her supervisor. Next thing the other server came by and only took off the sausage only. Also as my other sister is trying to explain that she is local and she knows that the server was just busy, she was being brushed off. The "supervisor " didn't even have time to listen to our complaints. She continued with bussing a table. This was absolutely terrible. The server should never have even brought that plate out of the kitchen. I can only assume that this is a normal presentation and quality of your food. That's why the server thought it was ok. As I stated we are in the business and know things happen, but I thought you needed to know so you can retrain or re-education your books...

The place was very busy. The employees were very accommodating. We had an elderly with us. They found her seat while we were waiting for a table. While it's a small type place it's really friendly and enjoyable. I've been to this place many times.

Our last order was breakfast. The eggs were burnt on one side and not cooked on the other. The omelette was burnt on the outside and not cooked inside. It was all mushy, soggy and nasty. I was very disappointed with the way the food looked and the way it tasted. My son had French toast and he's want happy with them. They weren't cooked thoroughly. He stated that the food was cooked in a rush. It was. The food was just bad.

Shame on you Chef for cooking food like that and giving it to your customers. Very disappointed in your skill set or lack of professionalism toward your customers.

It really wasn't worth $75 for three people for breakfast. We will not be going back because there are better Diners in the area. We went there because it was close to the church. I've been a customer at this place before. The food was usually good with out any compliments.

I do not want to go back and see if they get better....
