I came in for a couple dozen donuts that I give away to customers when I visit them. I usually go to Holey Donuts when in El Cajon for their great variety and excellent customer service. I thought I would give this place a try. No greeting or eye contact when I went in not to big of a deal. Bathroom has out of order sign I asked to use it and she said it was for Covid but she would ask the owner. He said no, I asked him myself and without looking at me he said no it’s out of order. I was really taken back by his lack of courtesy as a business owner. Not even a little empathy.

These donuts are lower price point wise but their flavor is also low. The sprinkle cake tasted off and not like a sweet cake donut. The chocolate frosted donuts(round and bar) lacked flavor. The filled donut was hefty but when we cut into it we realized most of the weight was from the dense half cooked dough. They're fairly large but they make up for it in not being very good.

Thank you Donut Bro’s for fulfilling not 1 but 2 birthday donut requests for my kids parties. Such great attention to detail and great communication to make sure the custom donuts were perfect. The best part though was how AMAZING they tasted. Sooo yummy! Again, thank you for going above and beyond.

This place has put a permanent cease and desist on all other donut shops! Other donuts are either a far inferior path to disappointment or are tasty enough to get you dreaming of how much better Donut Bros is.

If you can’t tell, this is my favorite donut store, at least in San Diego. I have tested many and even trusted the recommendation of a local guide who tested a large number of other shops rated this one low. Tried some of her favorite alternative shops and they were extremely subpar. Don’t be fooled. Donut Bros is the one.

These donuts have the perfect combination of flavor, melt in your mouth goodness, and satisfying substance. I will give props to Mary’s for having delicate, fluffy donuts but it leaves me missing the perfect balance of textures that Donut Bros has.

This place by far hands down has the best donuts in town (I personally think there the best in San Diego and greater area)and prices that are unbeatable cause of the quality of donuts you will be receiving with out question nice and fresh they have a morning batch and afternoon so there always fresh I LOVE THIS PLACE !!!!!!!! the customer service is also unbeatable the brothers love what they do and it shows if you go just a few times they will remember who you are thanks guys for the quality of donuts and service.... the cherry cake donuts are my favorite if you want just 1 of the cherry cake donuts you need to be 1 of the first 20 people or probably not...

These donuts were the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten from a handful of donut shops. We got a chocolate peanut, white with sprinkles, and a Bavarian creme. The donuts were very moist and delicious with a crusty outside. I was amazed by how good they tasted! It’s not just a basic donut, they’re really good donuts. The coffee tastes cheap, like what you get at a hotel room, so I kind of don’t recommend it, but that’s definitely not a breaking point! This is our new place to get donuts.
