Read moreHighly disappointed in this place! For starters when I asked for a glass of water the waitress pointed to a cooler to purchase water bottles. The pita bread tasted like bread from the grocery store that was put in the microwave. We ordered 2 plates of the chicken kebabs… when the plates came out it was a lot of food but when we took our first bite we wanted to vomit because it didn’t taste like chicken at all. The waitress was kind but did not speak any English so there was a language barrier. When I asked to pay the waitress was in the kitchen trying to calculate our total on paper. She then told me there was a dollar charge if I’m paying with card. The total was $53 and some change per the waitress’s calculations … she ran my card told me about the $1 charge for using a card then asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Even though I was apprehensive about a tip I told her $5 for the tip….why did my total come out to $60? We took the food to go and gave it to some homeless people. We couldn’t even verify if what we got was actually chicken because it tasted nothing like chicken since the waitress didn’t speak English. This place needs to reevaluate their business operations. Glad we were able to at least give the food to some homeless people and I hope they at least liked it! I would give Zero...
Read moreI love this place!!! I ordered the fattoush and biryani, and I was blown away. The fattoush was so fresh and crisp—perfectly dressed with just the right amount of tang from the sumac and lemon. The vegetables tasted like they were chopped minutes before they hit my plate, and the pita chips added the best crunchy contrast.
Then came the biryani—wow. The rice was fluffy and fragrant, each grain packed with flavor and aromatic spices without being overwhelming. It was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the tender, juicy meat (which was seasoned to perfection). Every bite felt like a little journey through a traditional home kitchen.
What stood out most, beyond the incredible food, was the authenticity. It didn’t feel like a place trying to imitate Mediterranean cuisine—it was Mediterranean cuisine, made by people who clearly have a deep connection to what they’re serving.
I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes on the menu. Uncle Feras is a hidden treasure and easily one of my new favorite spots. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something delicious,...
