Italia Express — Restaurant in El Centro

Hey! If the owner sees this, I don't mean this as hate but as a genuine opinion.

The food is nice, and I did like their pizzas they are good for their value. The pizzas are also quite large, too, so that's why I gave 3 stars.

The atmosphere is kind of non-existent as it is inside of a mall foodcourt (and you can't do much with a limited space, of course), so that's why I gave it 2 stars.

Now my main problem here is the service, the employees are kind and do understand concerns though sometimes I did have a little trouble to try to communicate what I needed to say, also it is quite slow, I was infact waiting for my pizza for 30 minutes and for food that is probably fast food quality, their serving time is like you're waiting for the fanciest food in the world, it is generally a very slow service despite the literal name of the restaurant being "Italia EXPRESS"

If you are wondering, "Huh, maybe I could try some other Italian place in the mall", no this is the only place in the mall, but there are some nearby ones outside of it, so if your willing to wait for a bit and are craving Italian, go for it.

TL;DR: Good fast-food style food, atmosphere limited, very slow service, only Italian in the mall but some others...

Have gone to order the “stuffed pizza” twice this year recently and twice the pizza was burnt and had little to no “stuffing” if any at all. Plus they are supposed to provide the tomato sauce which I was given none at all. Not sure if there is a new management, workers, or something but the pizza is very cheaply made for a $17 pizza compared to before.

Edit After a year decided to give it another try. And honestly was very impressed with the quality and the service provided. The pizza was cooked well not burnt at all not under done it was perfect and the toppings were of good portion also. I would recommend after this last visit will be going...

Great place for a quick bite. The staff is nice, the pizza is nice, the owner is great. I highly recommend that people stop by as the food is always good and they are more than happy to make sure you're happy...
