Nicarao — Restaurant in El Centro

Nicarao is located inside the Imperial Valley Mall. It offers fresh and healthy options that are usually around $7-12 each. I've gotten acai bowls there, fresh blended natural smoothies, and they even have a little salad bar to build your own salad. They sell baked goods (muffins), paninis and wraps, and food is prepared by them. I appreciate that they are not just selling repackaged or microwaved food. It feels like fresh food would taste if you made the smoothie or wrap at your own home. There is not usually a long wait here either ~ 5 min typically when ordering a single menu...

Very tasty food. Incredibly friendly staff. I highly recommend the asparagus wrap. I've also tried their panini (sandwiches?) and they were delicious as well. Thank you! Go with the cucumber jalapeño dressing, you won't be disappointed.

Just FYI, their phone number seems to be disconnected but as of May 2024, they're still up...

The food there is so good, but the service is always terrible. I've been served by all 4 employees there and because the smoothies and wraps are so good I still get, but the same rude attitude each and every time. Bad...
