Black Cat Cafe — Restaurant in El Dorado

Horrible service! Arrived was seated and then forgotten others that came in afterwards were seated got their drinks , appetizer & meals before we even got our drinks ! We had to literally get the attention of someone to even get drinks the lady that sat us totally ignored us like the plague she looked at us numerous times , walked right on by attending the other customers that came in way later than we did , finally we got our drinks 30 minutes after arriving! Mind you we are in town for an event we arrived in time to catch a meal then attend the concert …. Not if you come here …. After an hour still no food (Nachos & Quesadilla) nothing fancy . Something quick ….Whelp after the folks that came afterwards finished their meals and left still nothing ! We paid for our drinks and left no food ! My husband literally can’t eat after a certain time due to medical reasons. We attended our event on empty stomach’s . Hopefully we will find some local restaurants that we can recommend to our fellow concert attendees the next time there is an...

Edit: a few years after my first review. Today we ordered take out and was disappointed that with our order of two large queso, we recieved 6 bags of average chips but no salsa. I called back to inquire because never have we not recieved salsa with chips or meal at any restaurant take out or dine in.I was advised that you have to request it and it's a extra charge. It was not offerednor suggested when ordering. Even Taco Bell ALWAYS ASK if we would like sauce! I would rather they cut down on the amount of chips and the two extra Styrofoam bowls they added and give us salsa! The alambre was good but the Southwest egg rolls have changed. Instead of a crispy egg roll in was a soggy tortilla. Also served without salsa. I will choose another restaurant next time. Maybe Taco Bell! Sadly disappointed 😔

Service was great and the sweet tea and some of the food was good; But the price was unreasonablely high on some items; And I understand some prices are going up do to the cost of inflation rising but still somethings were too high. Then when we ordered lava cakes to go we only wanted the cakes to go but they put ice cream and everything else on top ruining it so we could not enjoy them by the time we got home. So that was a wast Of 7.99x2 would not recommend it if you have kids either they don't offer...
