Doublz — Restaurant in El Monte

Im a good customer i take $25 to $35 worth of food and im disappointed now. Ordered large chicken salads three different occasions, first salad was good had no issues, so i ordered it again 3 days after, this time the chicken was a bit hard and dry i let the issue slide maybe next time ill get a good salad again. Third time ordering a large chicken salad, the chicken was dry again had different textures, maybe it was hours of old chicken. Didnt ate much but 20 min later after i ate some of it i had bad flatulence i couldn't bare the odor it was like the ingredients in the chicken were bad as well. This time i ended up with diarrhea at home! I figured it was the chicken with the ingredients, maybe they marinate their chicken with oranges, (bad oranges) that caused me getting diarrhea. Sorry but from now on im done with this doublez. They dont serve fresh food beans are hard and dry too pancakes have different kind of yellow pancake mix not white. Theres times i ordered different plates and some are ok but not every time i go here its like they save leftovers over days then serve it to drive through customers like me. Not good!!! Hope management takes note and stop serving leftovers from days...

American and Mexican fast food. There are some interesting fusion of both like Pastrami Quesadilla. Their taco are non standard here but they are good. They more like a elevated version of Jack in Box's taco where it deep fried.

Update: You should double check your receipts. Last couple time we've ordered the fried chicken sandwich, they rung us up for the bigger and more expensive hand breaded chicken sandwich. Took off a star for the scam.

Update: Order a machaca burrito. The meat was not dry shredded beef. The beef was more like a rough diced and wasn't dried. They grilled it with large chunks of onions and green bell peppers. It felt more like fajita the machaca. It's good but not machaca.

Also, they had the pastrami sandwich at market prices. Never seen market prices used for pastrami. I doubt the price of pastrami fluctuates that much throughout the year. They must be having issues with their supplier. They also took the pastrami quesadilla and pastrami burrito...

Ok place to eat. This place used to be a lot better. They've recently over priced everything. It seems like they are nickle and dimeing everything. The food is just Okay now. The Chili Cheese Fries used to be a lot better but I feel like they changed the recipe and ruined the chili. I can't pin point the spice but it over powers everything else. The restaurant is clean. The service is ok. The cashier is usually friendly but they always get our order wrong and if you try returning it the cooks make a huge deal out of it. We asked for a plain burger with ketchup only and the cheese had melted every where. The cook told my husband if he couldn't just scrape it off what was the big deal. You have to pay for ranch etc and if you want a refill you need to go to the counter for a refill. The place is going down hill and so is the food. You can tell they are trying to cut corners to save money and its going to eventually push people away. Too expensive not...
