Watch your wallet ! The good parts- Summer knows what she is doing and she’s dedicated. She also seems nice. Negatives out weigh the positives though. 1. It’s expensive $150+ for a private lesson. Much more than competitors. In retrospect I should have joined my gym yoga class for no additional charge. 2. Don’t sign a contract or be very certain if you do. I came only for a single lesson. I live an hour away but I’m nearby once a week so thought I would try. Lesson was fine I was ready to go. Summer tried to pressure me into a package - initially 10 I said several times I only wanted one lesson at a time, I’m only in the area once a week at the most and I had several long international trips planned in the near future. Not to worry she said and she eventually pressured me into agreeing to 6. Big mistake. Summer was really happy to take $900 cash. Fast forward 2 months I just finished 2 long trips out of the country and now I get a message that my lessons will be expiring soon and no refunds!!! I’m sure this is in the fine print of the contract but it wasn’t the feeling conveyed at the time. When I asked for at least a partial refund Summer said tough luck, read the contract. So my single 1 hour yoga lesson effectively cost $900! I thought I was paying for time and expertise but summer seems to think the contract is more important than what’s right. All I can say is she may think she is a clever and good business woman, but she apparently has no personal sense of ethics and fairness. Unless you are very careful, I would go elsewhere where it’s less expensive and you won’t be taken advantage...
Read moreI started in mid Jan. . at this place and at first it was a good experience, but as time passed on it changed drastically. The instructor seems welcoming at first to new incomers, but as you continue on the sessions, the instructor will begin to neglect her students. The schedule also posted on the window is severely out of date and is only given at random times of the day through a group chat. Her schedule is also fixated on her desired times. There are many odd rules for signing up to a yoga class and many of the times a class will not open due to the lack of students signing up. If you are a busy person and want to practice yoga, this studio is not recommended for you. It’s quite stressful to constantly check on the group chat to find out whether there will be a open class...
Read moreI have been here for a year and love going here! Wonderful instructor and can work with clients of all experience and fitness levels. When I started, I was totally new and instructor helped explain everything along the way - it never felt intimidating. Her positive attitude and encouragement is ever present and she has a great, wholistic approach. The best thing about the this studio is the very small, intimate class size. You are guaranteed to get the attention you need and won't feel lost like you might in a bigger class. All of the other clients I've been in classes with have been really nice and feeling refreshed every time after...
