Chillin Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in El Monte

This place has the best Thai food. Orange chicken is crunchy and very tasty. Their tom yum Kai and glass noodle salad is the best I've ever tasted. I live in San Bernardino CA and tried to find a Thai place out here but none compare to taste and flavor of their food. I have never had a bad experience with service here.

It went from 5 🌟 to 2 🌟 because service was just horrible. The people who attended me before the 10 plus yrs I have been going there were friendly and pleasant. Even on days they seemed extra busy. This time around I walked in and I was not greeted, I waited to be seated no one even acknowledge I was there. So went to register to place order. The lady behind counter still didn't say anything to me because she was fumbling with booba machine after waiting for a good 3 minutes she finally turned and looked at me and said I will be right with you I waited another 4 minutes before she decided to help me. I told her I would be placing an order to eat there and a to-go order, she looked at me and said just go have a seat at one of the tables and I will take your order over there. She was rude and unpleasant. So if you don't mind the service the food is tasty...

The food is passable but the service is the worst. Been coming here for years but I don’t recommend to friends or family. Reason being the customer service needs a lot of work. They lost a loyal customer today. They’ve messed up my order a couple of times before in the past. It happened again. I specifically asked for Flat Noodles, bell peppers and Shrimp. They gave me something that looks like Angel Hair Spaghetti with 3 shrimp in each plate. Every time I come here, I have to ask for Extra shrimp and tell them I’ll pay the extra money. They will only place 4 shrimp per plate. They refuse to refund my money when I told them they messed up my order. They put a new employee in the front that does not know their menu. When I asked to speak to a manager he said he couldn’t fix anything that’s he’s not allowed. I feel bad for that young man to be in that kind of establishment. If this Cuisine Restaurant doesn’t care about the customers or employees. They definitely do NOT deserve my business. I refuse to support a small business that takes advantage of it’s customers...

Food was ok but very greasy. I ordered shrimp fried rice and they gave me Thai fried rice instead, Soo I was picking out tomatoes from my rice when I brought it home. They charged me twice even though I showed them the payment went through on my end, wouldn’t let me take my food till they charged me again. Ninety dollars later, by then my food was getting cold sitting on the counter. My pad Thai was sticky and gummy, I’ve had better. The cashier was rude not just to me but to everyone, the boss or owner is no better he came out from the back and spoke to me very angrily as though it was my fault their debit card machine wasn’t working efficiently, it’s and old one, mind you I called beforehand and asked what type of payment accepted. Bad experience over all, I wouldn’t mind if the food was great, but it wasn’t, I’ll head to Valley...
