Hello sorry to not increase your rating but I actually whent again to see if I was wrong, but no still the same service, there was even more staff but still they took 40 minutes to take a couple of elotes and nachos since I really was not a fan of the sea food at your restaurant, they were ok but not to the point of going there and having to wait such a long time, honestly I can wait an hour for my food if it's worth it but any food truck or stand can get your elotes in 5 minutes or less, nachos maybe 10 minutes same thing with the drinks I believe 10 minutes for a drink order is just to much I actually took some dominos and had a couple of games before we got our order if theres something worth trying let me know I migth order it over the phone just so I can see why people like this place
Horrible service, they were tending 6 tables and mine took 20 min to get the order and drinks another 40 to get the food and the whole time the waitress never got to check the tables she was behind the counter with the cook and what seemed to be the supervisor or owner, she went and told me that she would bring the check and refused it and told her to bring chips instead since I was half way eating. The food was of bad quality the tower of seafood looked nice but was filled with frozen shrimp only a few large shrimp and super chewy octopus and the fish or crab meat was also rough every thing with such a bad seasoning or lack off, honestly it was just plain seafood with tajin and hot sauce, what seemed funny is how the waitress would take every plate out one at a time I would suggest getting a tray to at least get 2 plates at a time since it was early in the day and she already looked tired of walking back and forward not a good restaurant one of the worst here in El Paso maybe just a place to get a snack on the go if you have...
Read moreWent for the first time and was very disappointed. It wasn’t even busy and we had to wait almost 20 minutes for our drinks. When our food came out it looked really good. However as we ate we realized it wasn’t made properly. I had asked for an aguachile with salsa negra. The salsa negra wasn’t put in my dish and when I asked for it on the side it tasted and looked like soy sauce. To top it all off the manager was so rude to many customers there especially the table next to us. He made us feel very uncomfortable and the only one who apologized to the table was the waitress. If you want good mariscos I would recommend going somewhere else. This food is nasty and the management is horrible. Also as the owner stated under this review that we were the “loud ones” we were the observers and the table who was being treated poorly was right next to us. Which was a family of 3. Me and my husband paid and took our food after we saw the whole the thing. Like I said it made us feel uncomfortable. We notified our waitress why we were leaving and she stated that this wasn’t the first time the manager was being complained about. We also overheard her tell the other table that he was a big problem there and the owner never does anything about it. So don’t accuse us for complaining over not feeling comfortable around that environment. Which we couldn’t help being apart of when the tables were literally right next to each other. Instead of accusing us for being the “loud and disrespectful” ones you should be more concerned about who you have as...
Read moreMy mother and sister went here and they liked it a lot. Me? I’m not the biggest fan of seafood, but I absolutely love shrimp. Naturally, I asked them to bring me back some caldo de camaron. After a long, exhausting day, the thought of that warm, flavorful bowl was the light at the end of the tunnel. I rushed home from the gym, excitement coursing through me, and went straight for a heaping scoop. But something was wrong. The meat didn’t look like shrimp; it looked strange, like a weird cut of fish. I brushed it off and took a bite. That was my mistake. Instead of the tender, flavorful shrimp I was craving, I was met with something chewy and bland. Confused, I looked closer. It wasn’t shrimp. It was octopus. My heart sank. I had been eagerly looking forward to that shrimp caldo. Every rep at the gym was fueled by the thought of that caldo de camaron. And instead, I got a bowl of caldo de 7 mares, a mix of seafood I never wanted. I felt robbed. My excitement turned to bitter disappointment. I couldn’t eat it. I just sat there, staring at the bowl, feeling utterly defeated. I ate the bread, which was honestly pretty great, but it was a cold comfort. Let this be a lesson: if you’re getting takeout, check it before you leave. We didn’t, and I paid the price, with an empty stomach and shattered expectations.
(I still gave 3 stars because it was an honest mistake, and my family likes it. Below are some...
