Whataburger — Restaurant in El Paso

Dear Whataburger,

I miss you. What happened to you? You’ve changed. You’re not the same. You aren’t the Whataburger I used to know. I’m so sad. You used to be the reason why I would come into town from overseas and stop to have a whataburger when I got here, the reason why I would share your wonders of whataburgers with friends from out of town, you used to have hot patties and hot crispy fries. Now I feel like you’re gone. I can’t remember the last time you were were hot. I think may have to see other burgers. I hope one day again that you’ll be the same and maybe we can see each other again. I’ve told your friends that make you, but they don’t seem to understand or care that you aren’t the same anymore. Eating you lukewarm isn’t the same as eating you hot and fresh off the grill. Who knows when I will have the WHATABURGER I used to know.

I SPECIFICALLY requested no onions....on BOTH hamburgers in the order. I was on my way home from 4 1/2 hours at the emergency vet. One hamburger was for my dog....to give him his medicine (he only had a soft tissue injury, read bruise) I double checked at the window..."do BOTH hamburgers have NO onions?" " oh yes...." Thank God I pulled in to a space to check the order...the dog's burger HAD onions!! (If you don't know...onions are poisonous to dogs.) So.....1am....I had to go into the restaurant (the whole point of the drive through was because it was late, I was tired, and I had a dog in the car) I spoke to the manager...I had to tell him twice that onions are poisonous to a dog....he looked at me like I was a crazy person, and it was MY fault! FINALLY he said..."I'll remake it... GEEZ...YA THINK??? Treated TOTALLY rude, disrespectful, and didn't seem to care if they poisoned my dog. WON'T be...

Can't get one thing right - their signature: Grilled onions & Grilled jalapenos. This is management and above. You only have one job and you can't do it right - ever! Unbelievable. Great American will SATISFY this Aungry! Blake Burgers knows how to listen to a customer. Friscos knows how to get it done. Papa Burgers is now My Favorite - they know how to get down with grilled onions and grilled jalapenos; ask once always on point - grilled just the way it should be. No more arguing with Whataburger how to grill onions and Grill jalapenos - well grilled - it's too fast now they don't care about how you want your burger it's how fast they deliver it without giving you exactly what you want how you want it. Whataburger doesn't build a Better Burger - You Do! upper management just don't care everyone shoukd go back to training from...
