BOSS Tenders, Dogs & Custard — Restaurant in El Paso

We typically like this Boss Chicken location. However, last night (11/12) we had a missing item that was discovered once we got home. I called the store and spoke to a very friendly manager that offered to replace the item if I drove back to the store. I asked if we could take her up on that at a later date and she insisted on me giving her an actual date. So I said “tomorrow” (11/13) would work then, and she said that she would put a note next to the cash register with my name and phone number. Well, I go there today and I get questioned for what seemed like 5 mins and even had to show my phone to the manager on duty to prove that I did in fact call last night. I left there embarrassed because I was questioned over my missing item by one manager due to the other manager not doing what she said she was going to do. This came after the manager last night saying that her window person should’ve checked for all items. Managers can’t place blame on their employees if they don’t do their jobs correctly. Anyways, we will continue to eat at Boss Chicken and most likely this location because it’s the closest to our house, but I am still disappointed in the treatment that I have received in the past 24 hours. This was my first time being to this location and it was a great experience! The staff was extremely welcoming and kind. The young woman (Yulaidi) that helped my family was very patient with us and gave us great recommendations for what to get. She was extremely sweet with my baby girl too!

The food came out even before we got back to the table from getting our drinks. So that was great, especially with a hungry baby. The food was fantastic! So good and reasonably priced too!

The place itself is very clean, the only thing I would suggest is for them to clean the high chairs a bit more thoroughly, the one we grabbed was a bit sticky. But we always carry wipes, so it wasn’t a big deal. The atmosphere was nice, with various channels playing and a great range of music playing in the background.
