Exciting that a place like this opened up near my place of work. Very inviting as soon as you walk in the door. Food was good.
Edit: Now that some time has passed I’d like to give an update on my review. I guess I went on opening day, when I came in they offered free gyozas, the line was super long and it took a while to get to the front to order my food. I understand that as time goes by that the wait time should go down. I ordered the #1 and a k-dog. When I got to the register to pay for my food, their card machine went down and I didn’t have cash. I was told by the cashier that I could go to an ATM down the street and that they’d hold my food for me. I was little irritated but oh well, I went to pull cash. When I got back, they gave my k-dog away to some ladies in front of me so I had to wait more to get another. A lady I’m assuming that was either a manager or owner apologized and said they should have just given me the meal on them from the beginning. This whole ordeal took me almost 40 minutes. I didn’t realize until I got back to work that there wasn’t any gyozas in my bag.
When I finally got to sit down and eat for the last 10 mins of my lunch, my food was pretty luke warm. There wasn’t any flavor in the Korean pork and the chicken katsu was super dry. Overall the bowl was good, but I wasn’t wowed! The k-dog was super good though!
I honestly just think my experience has a lot to do with the surplus of people there and also the fact that it was maybe their first day open. Maybe I got the ends of the pan when it came to the meats I got. I am willing to try this place again, hopefully next time around it’s a better...
Read moreRobert did an excellent job with exceptional service! He was very welcoming when we entered the restaurant. He assisted us with our very first CupBop order, explaining the whole process of building our bowls step by step. He even gave us samples of our choices of proteins to make sure we would liked them before adding them to our bowls. We chose the snow chicken(LTO) and bulgogi (beef) which were very delicious. We also received a free 1pc mandoo in our bowl since it was our first time and free 3pcs for doing a review, these were also delicious. Overall our experience was nice but my least favorite things in my bowl were the rice and noodles. The taste and texture were both off for me so if I go back I probably won't get either. I got my sauce on the side because I knew I probably wouldn't care for it and I didn't. I will give this place another try but with a different bowl build of course. I don't know if my daughter will try again though, she had trouble finishing her bowl. (My daughter had -All noodles, snow chicken, bugogi beef and medium sauce in bowl) 🤷🏾♀️ We also received a punch card but I'm not sure we will eat here enough times to earn a free bowl. Thanks again to Robert, he truly provided us with exceptional...
Read moreI am Absolutely in Love with the Doochi #10 with Fried Tofu since Im a Pescatarian and Frequent here Often. Always have Great Service. Few Hiccups with my Order and having Rice Instead of All Noodles but NOTHING that wasn’t Immediately Addressed and Corrected with Many Apologies. Shout Out to Josh & his Manager for Providing an Immediate Resolution on my Order Yesterday 03/30/25. It was Near Closing and I Didnt Want to Make a Trip Back for Another Bowl. So I ate the Wrong One with the Rice. Love Rice just NOT when I Eat Out Since I Can Make at Home. When I Stopped by Today 03/31/25 and Proceeded to the Drive-Thru. Josh is the One Who Attended to Me and Immediately Knew Who I was by Name. Was Very Polite. Made Me Feel Very Valued and First & Foremost Apologized for the Inconvenience. He Offered to Give Me Some Mandoo but I Declined Since I Dont Eat Meat. He is Certainly Supervisor or Management Material....
