Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in El Paso

I eat at Jersey Mike’s a lot. I like the subs. I usually go to the one on the west side because they didn’t have the one on the Northeast side open. I got really good service on the west side the north east side seems to have a little bit of a problem getting orders done we went in for dinner last night and people were behind us getting their orders after we placed our order, not only that had trouble reading the ticket. I asked for lettuce and tomato on my sub and they bring it out with just tomato. I went back and I asked him to see the ticket and I asked them why did we have to wait for our dinner when you were serving people that were behind us before I got mine I didn’t appreciate that. My girlfriend went up to get some more lettuce because when they put lettuce on my sandwich after complaining about it, they only put it on the front half of the sandwich. Nothing on the back half so she went up there to the counter and the girl looked at her and just kept ignoring her. She stood there for probably five minutes, waiting to talk to this server to get a thing of lettuce so I can put it on my sandwich. Went to Jersey Mike yesterday to get a sandwich. First of all, you should not put people's bread on the table without nothing up under it. That is not sanitary. And then when I got up there, the girl messed up my sandwich too messy the other two at the restaurant when they first open. The customer service was great. This is my second time going there. This time the service sucked. Too many young children that are just standing there talking. Really. No supervision. I don't know why. The supervisor was and then you had another person that was doing the sandwiches and she messed it up and she took everything off with her hands and tried to still make the same sandwich. That is not right. Don't think I will be going back. I was really happy to get a Jersey Mike on this line, but I think they need a little bit more training before I will go back. Finding a place that safely serves gluten-free options always feels like a small victory, and Jersey Mike’s really exceeded my expectations. From the moment I mentioned my gluten allergy and concern about cross-contamination, the staff took it seriously. They paused what they were doing, wiped down the counters and slicer, changed the knives and cutting boards, washed their hands, and put on fresh gloves all without hesitation.
