The Shack Wings & Brews — Restaurant in El Paso

The service was great my waitress was very attentive and very knowledgeable on the menu. The only thing that sucked was that the menu was very outdated and some items that sounded interesting to me was not available. The food was pretty good but also was the reason this place got 4/5 stars. My partner and I We ordered burgers and both had said the same thing about them. I ordered the American burger with bacon and he ordered the shack burger. The American burger came with a special in house home made sauce and the the shack burger came with BBQ sauce. We had gotten the burger ms cooked medium. The complaint that we had was for the American burger the sauce was very bland and not very distinctive. It was like eatting a sandwich but only getting a glimpse of the burgers identity.

The shack burger was the oposite. There was not enough sauce was put onto the burger and it was like they only put a dot of sauce on the entire burger that the main feature was supposed to be a BBQ burger.

The fries were good and had a pretty good seasoning on them.

The side salads were great they had a wide variety of dressings to accompany your salad.

The fried pickles were pretty good. The spicy ranch sauce that they served with it was great and the batter that was coated with the fries...

The shack is such an important place in my family’s heart. That’s the place where me and my husband had our first date.

The first time me, my husband and bbgrl when to go eat in this new location we would have rated this place a one start. Our server was so rude and careless she didn’t have the customer service a server should have it was beyond disappointing. However a manger name Joanne was passing through making sure all the customers were satisfied and then she noticed us all disappointed and annoyed due to the horrible service. Joanne asked if everything was alright so we explain the experience we were having and she offered to replace our plate and serve us QUALITY food! Joanne was our server for the rest of our visit. And to me that shows how much dedication she has for her job. If it wasn’t for Joanne’s attentive manner and will to make her store be 5stars we would have never came back. I believe Joanne should receive a recognition because everyday she shows up to work she has amazing attitude and is always in the look for unsatisfied customer and will go off and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience! The girls so so stuck up that they forget customer service is #1 not looking pretty. Was not greeted when entering, there was no one seating people. stood for 5 minutes like a idiot having the servers stare at me with a weird look almost as if questioning why I was standing there. Then I finally approached the bar after 10 minutes and asked if I could get help and some girl was like yes how can I help you and I was like um? I'm here to pick up my order been standing here and no one even says anything to me. She completely ignored my comment and rolled her eyes right in my face and sighed before asking me. "What is the name" I said my name she just walked away then brought the order back and just placed it in front of me and walked away so fast. I said thank you and got no response nothing. I was respectful too and I like too tip because I used to work fast food so understand the stress of working in a restaurant but they were rude as hell. To make it worse was the first time going to the northeast location. The food was delicious but the chick's too stuck up to give good customer service.
