Wing It Bar & Grill — Restaurant in El Paso

Being more involved in reviews people post on my company's website has become a valuable tool to make sure our clients are taken care of and have a positive experience. With that said, I must input my experience at your establishment last night. Since your reinvention to a bar & grill this was my first visit. Aesthetically the place looks great! The menu is different than before. Staff was prompt and courteous. Three issues; (1) My order which was the Monterrey chicken was a little tough but alright. My wife's order of boneless chicken wings in goldwing sauce arrived cold. Our order took longer than expected to arrive and I suspect the boneless wings were ready before the rest of our meal and got cold . (2) When we informed an employee not our server about the temperature of the food, it was taken to the kitchen and returned quickly. Because there were so little patrons in the restaurant at this time I doubt extra boneless wings were being made to facilitate this fast of a turn around, thus we surmised they were microwaved, plus we noticed it was re-served on the same plate, not good business practice.Once we informed our server she conferred with management to make a new order which took an additional 12 minutes. (3) At this point our mealtime was ruined, our server who is young and lacking a little experience tried her best, we boxed up what was not eaten and were handed a bill. I would have expected management to followup with us maybe even offer a discount but not even an apology or explanation. I paid our bill in full, tipped our server about 20% and informed her we would not be coming back, she was apologetic but it truly wasn't her fault . Visiting from Dallas, me and my family had lunch here and it was the worst experience. We weren't greeted upon entering, so we didn't know if we could seat ourselves, which we ended up doing. Waitress ignored that we even entered, wasn't busy at all. Waitress was friendly, yet inattentive. Our food was cold and dry. I had to send my onion rings back. She came to refill my tea and had her finger in my cup as she took it to the back to refill. My child didn't receive her drink with her order until I asked for it. I had to ask twice for the highchair for my child. We found out we were charged for ranch when some of us didn't even request ranch or any dipping sauce so we were charged for something we didn't ask for. Instead of being attentive to our table, the waitress was talking at the bar. Maybe they were short staffed but once I saw her take a shot behind the bar, I should have left. The place is in need of a true deep cleaning. The restroom and under the tables looked like something out of restaurant nightmares. A layer of grime coated most surfaces, even the highchair. When we were leaving, no one said their farewells and thank yous to us but the few patrons before us received that. It was all around a weird and unpleasant experience. I expected more from a place with 4 stars. How do you mess up a chicken wing experience? If you're the manager at this location, retraining your staff...

Cleanliness: Place was relatively dirty, you can tell where previous customers sat. The was water on the floor that was left there with a slip sign never cleaned up. Tables were half cleaned. Plates would be gone but the messes would be there, seasoning all over or left over crumbs that didn’t make it to the plate.

Food: The food had good seasoning, how ever we had some carrots that were super slimy feeling and tasted as if it was left in water for a super long time. But other than that horrible carrots experience food was pretty good. And I got the carrots replaced with more celery.

Waiters: Waiters are mediocre, for a time that wasn’t too busy. I had to ask for a refill and I was refilled the wrong drink. Everything was in slow motion for all staff. No one really seem to care about the area how it looked. They just prefer to talk to each other and relax.

Wait time: Everything takes long, food took a very long time, all I got was a quesadilla and wings. Nothing special. Probably took like 30 mins to get. The recept probably took like 10-15 mins to get. Everything just took forever. I understand if it’s busy and it was...
