This is the worst restaurant I have ever gone to. The ladies serving the take out food are rude, lazy, and forget simple orders. One of the female servers was eating while she was serving food.
Today, I ordered a large menudo. There were two female servers and three other people and placed their orders. I stood there for almost 45 minutes as they completed an order for a gentleman that had come in after me. I had to remind the lady that took my order. She said she forgot about my order and said "Oh well I forgot".
Another gentleman from the back kitchen began taking orders. He completed his order and overheard me complaining to the lady because she forgot my written order. He then started to prepare my menudo. If anybody has gone to this restaurant know that their serving style is like a buffet style. The menudo is already prepared and done all the servers have to do is serve it. The manager was nowhere to be found but a young male who stated he was the supervisor, gave me my money back because I requested it. I left without my order. What was surprising was he was being told what to do by the ladies and the male subject serving. Since when do employees tell managers what to do?
I have worked as a waitress in restaurants and understand the importance of customer service. This place does not care much less have employees with manners. If I was the manager I would be extremely embarrassed. Most customers do not complain and continue to accept this type of service and that is why these servers continue to do what they do. This is not the first time I have ordered from here. I will never spend my money there again and a complaint to the better business bureau has been filed. Others should...
Read moreYesterday we went here for dinner and we ordered some food. I was sitting facing the kitchen, and I could see that the microwave was at the entrance of the kitchen... The "cook" or whatever that guy's title is was heating up our food in the microwave... I could see him put plates in there and then bring them over to our server like tucked away, and then she would put cutlery and some tiny containers with guacamole and sour cream... I called the server and asked her to charge me for the drinks, and advised her that I would not be paying for microwaved food, which I could do myself at home... The rice and beans were not even lukewarm(because the cheese on top of the beans was cold to the touch, nor even a little bit melted), the Chile relleno and the enchilada were cold, and the crunchy taco shell was cold and disgusting... Someone came over to our table, whom I'm assuming was the "manager," and asked me what the problem was... I told her that if I wanted microwaved food, I could of stayed home... She proceeded to tell me that the enchilada and rice and beans needed to be warmed up and that the food wasn't cold because she touched it... Double disgusting 🫣 😑... I told her that it was unacceptable and that I wanted to be charged only for the drinks... She RUDELY told to leave "if I wanted to do so now"... So we got up and left... If I could give this disgusting place stars, they would be negative stars... Piece of advice for the restaurant... PLACE YOUR MICROWAVE SOMEWHERE WHERE THE CUSTOMERS CAN'T SEE IT OR BETTER YET... SERVE FRSHLY MADE...
Read moreI just can’t agree with all those who wrote a positive comment and found this place to be good. For me it missed on all angles. Service was poor at best, asked for coffee and it was served on styrofoam cups, because they had no clean cups, they brought no spoon and had to ask for them, and they brought plastic spoons. Had to ask for sugar, because they didn’t bring any with the coffee. Coffee was so watered down, we asked to have it replaced with fresh coffee, it came back the same, and then it tasted like tea, I can only assume they made the coffee in the same pot they make the tea. I ordered a Chile relleno plate, and they didn’t have any. So I ordered a combo plate with a taco, a tamale and a flauta. When got my food, the handle to my fork was on top of my beans, had to ask for a new fork, would have asked for new beans, but I’m sure they would have just moved the same beans around on the plate and returned the same beans, They served the tamale still with the corn husk, never seen that before in other restaurants, the flauta was so thin, I thought it was dental floss, the meat in the taco, was dry and crisp I thought it was beef jerky, the rice and beans were so below average. The menudo was bland and greasy. The only thing that looked look and was ok with the toast bread for the menudo. Just look at my photo of what I left on my plate and that will tell all of what I thought of this food. The colorful tables and chair make you feel like your seating in a kindergarten class. Sorry but this place missed the mark, I’m being generous...
