My family and I decided to try this restaurant yesterday. We ordered two sea food boils, one mild lemon pepper and the other was spicy with house seasonings ( we added sausage, potatoes, corn, eggs and noddles to each order) . Upon receiving the food we were excited because at first glance it looked good, but we were very disappointed. Both seasonings on the two boils were very bland. The sausage was sliced extra thin, the corn tasted dirty. I asked for more sauce on the side and lemons and that just helped to be able to eat the food. Once we were done we also decided to get dessert. We got a raspberry doughnut cheese cake which was plane. We also ordered the Dulce de leche desert and that was fantastic, very good but the down fall to that was that it was ridiculously small and it didn’t even come with ice cream or anything else.
Customer service was great, and so were the Margaritas. Definitely a place to go for during happy hour. Other than that I would not recommend this place for any boils. It’s not worth spending your money there (we paid $153.00 plus tip), doesn’t come with much you have to add the sausage, egg and the sauce which is what makes the boil, was extremely disappointing. Will not be going back.
If anyone is looking for a delicious sea food boil at a good price with great customer service I highly recommend King Krab off of Dyer st. Don’t look like much but the food is good, and staff is friendly (pet...
Read moreI have never had such horrendous experience in my life. We waited for over an hour for a table, during this time we were harassed by the gm about wearing a mask while we watched at least ten other people walk into the restaurant without a mask. Then the gm sat another large party who had showed up 30 mins after us before us. Then she said she didn’t know how long it would be before she could sit. Basically saying go somewhere else. I think she had something against us. I wish I could tell you her name but she refused to tell us, which is utterly unprofessional, to say the least. I will describe her for you. She is about 5’5 short salt and pepper hair. We were told by the owner the rules were you entire party must be there in order to be sat and there are no exceptions. We were missing 2 people and had my 96 year old grandfather waiting for the entire time. She didn’t even bother asking if our entire party had arrived before she sat the other party. I do t know how people like that manage restaurants. She had no customer service skills. I would like to tell you the food was great but we never made it passed the waiting area. We left and went to Landry’s whet the service and food is always excellent. I will now let everyone I know not to go there unless you want to pay for horrible service and possibly...
Read moreI am very disappointed. I visit this restaurant regularly whether I dine inside or carry out and usually I am pleased with my meal along with my family. I guess I chose the wrong night to want seafood because I was extremely disappointed that I had to pick through my $67 dollar meal and could not enjoy it the way I usually enjoy other meals with them in the past. In The Reel Catch my crab legs were over cooked so I struggled to retrieve the meat out of it along with it being soggy. The mussels were so enlarged and torn up as if someone ransacked them before they got to me. My head on shrimp were so mushy and not able to be eaten. The only thing I could eat was the potatoes and corn. I am truly upset and will not be back for some time. Seafood is one good item you cannot play with in regards to the time of cooking. You cook too long or not long enough someone can easily get sick or the meal is not able to be eaten. Y’all need to do better it’s too many seafood spots in El Paso serving up mushy seafood boils. Im a down south girl so I know how my seafood SHOULD BE and last night that wasn’t it. Do better...
