Long John Silver's — Restaurant in El Paso

Food is good. Its not the best, but it is a fast food joint. Dont expect super expensive sit in seafood specialty "takes 60 minutes for the food to be ready" quality. That being said, it is good. As far as portions go, i mean you get what you pay for. If you get a combo its the drink, the food and 1 side reasonably priced. You order a platter it is more pricey but you get more food. For example, one of the platters with drink is about 14.00 bucks BUT you get 2 fish planks, 3 chicken pieces, 2 sides and 2 of those super awesome hush puppies. The only inconvenience i see is that although they close at 10pm, by 8pm most of the dinning room is closed off so they can clean. Nothing major since i work in retail i know that closing time is not go home time. After closing, you still need to clean, restock, close the cash box, and prepare things for the next day, which means you have to usually stay about 1 hour longer. So i dont fault them for wanting to get ahead on the cleaning. The service is good. The staff is polite, helpful, and patient since some of us have kids, women, or señior citizens with us and they never know what they want. So extra points for the staff....

Very unprofessional staff. on wed 14 nov 2018, the female Caucasian cook said "i can give it to you raw", when i asked how long the redo of the previous cold fish would take. she wouldnt give me her name. the whole staff was relaxing out in front, nobody in the kitchen or at their stations while im there waiting hungry wondering how long it was going to be until they redid my order. these people dont smile and arent upbeat but very quiet. Fries were dry and cold. Fish wasnt hot.

I wish they would come back to the westside again, I enjoy this place immensely. The location I visit when I'm on the lower valley is great!! The food is great!!! People are great, the restaurant dining area is clean. The fact that it's hard to get to during the day time is worth it. Now the restrooms are a whole other ball game. THEY ARE GROSS!!!!! So gross in fact that I could not use them. Dont get me wrong, I can use a portopoddy no problem, but, this place makes one of those outhouses look very clean. Lol. If they can fix this issue then they will continue to have a winning...
