Peter Piper Pizza — Restaurant in El Paso

I was reminded why I have stayed away from Peter Piper after my kids successfully convinced me to go for NYE. The employees need better training as they will either lie straight to your face or be mistaken in a way that will convince you to go elsewhere just to avoid the aggravation. I asked about the advertised deal of extra tokens if you buy $20 worth. The cashier said I would get 10 extra tokens so I go for it as my kids wanted to play all the games. After counting each one, we find there are no extra tokens as she stated. (Count your tokens people) I go back and ask another cashier and he says the regular price of tokens is 80 for $20 versus 100 for $20, so the 20 extra would be the deal. OK, I haven't been here in a long time so maybe that's it. Then I later see each token machine has a sign clearly stating 100 tokens = $20. Later, I get my pizza which has toppings charged, but not added. They ran out, but still felt the need to charge me. I ask for a refund and cashier #2 speaks to the manager who sends him back to suggest I purchase a drink or ice cream instead of the refund stating it's "only 99 cents". If I wanted to order other items, I would have. So now the manager is issuing this refund on 12/31 that hasn't appeared in my account, now on 1/5. Celebrated my best friends daughters birthday here. We booked online for their party package and put in how many guests we would have. We put down 25 kids 25 adults. The pricing came out to four pizzas per guest. When we showed up they didn’t have the tables set up for our party, we had one person taking care of us, had to constantly ask for the rest of our pizza and they only ended up giving us 7 pizzas for 50 guests. The manager said the pizza and drinks are only for the kids even though it states guests on the final booking online. We had to buy more pizza to cover the rest of the party. Manager was no help even though we showed her our reservation and what it said, she just got rude and said our policy is kids only. Wouldn’t even try to compromise and make the situation better. The ice cream we got was half melted, and they never even did the birthday announcement for the birthday girl. We were very disappointed in the service from the minute we walked in the door for this party. For the price we paid and for the amount of food we got, it would have been cheaper to not book the party through them and just order the pizza separately and do it that route. This is a follow up to a review to one I posted several months ago due to a very negative experience I had with my daughters birthday party. I will not be able to go back and change that experience but I must admit and acknowledge what an absolute tremendous job Ariana, Denise, Alyssa and GM Raul Bueno did in trying to rectify what happened, not only was I given a refund they provided an opportunity for my other daughter to have an amazing fun party. They went above and beyond to accommodate us in every aspect. Their professionalism, courtesy, and all around customer service was outstanding.
