Never going back! My husband and I were happy when we found this spot. Didn't even mind when they had a kitchen fire once while we were dining in. Didn't even mind their insistence on speaking Spanish to us when we asked they speak in English. I would order the same breakfast plate which was enchilada pieces topped with over easy eggs. They were yummy and well priced. But damn if I didn't order the usual only to be served a plate of tostada chips covered in eggs. When I told our server it was wrong, she sent a 'manager' over to explain how my order was right. WRONG WRONG WRONG. I even showed her the menu and read it aloud, "...enchilada pieces..." and yet she argued that they made their enchiladas with tostadas. When I asked why it was exactly as described in the menu all the other times she said "no no, we have the same cook all day every day and this is how we make it." Accepting she had no intention of trying to fix the mistake (it was all about her trying to convince me that they brought out what I asked for as opposed to servicing the customer), I simply asked if she could make a plate of enchiladas, topped with an egg so that my husband could eat what we went there for -the same plate we'd ordered several times before. She reluctantly agreed and charged us a lunch price, still managing to mess up his order with the wrong sides. I refused to eat, returned my drink to the server and vowed NEVER to return to the not-so-super burro again. The owner was a pleasure to meet, the prices were good, and we were happy to make the 25 minute drive to eat with them, but...
Read moreOrdered a regular burrito, no additions, no fancy substitution requests. Just a normal burrito. Open it up, and the first thing I notice is they didn't even bother to wrap it properly, it was left open with fillings spilling out. I guess whatever tortilla wrap they use isn't big enough to accommodate normal burrito size fillings. Seems extremely odd for a business of this type. What message does that send to your patrons? "Sorry, we couldn't be bothered to either get bigger tortillas, or just make your burrito look like an actual burrito, instead of a soft taco that feel apart?" Oh and it tasted vile too, very little protein and fatty ends, nothing tasted seasoned, and then just douse everything in sour cream and hope they can't see or taste the difference. Tried a lot of Mexican food joints in my time here, nearly all of them have been somewhere between at most passable, usually painfully average or occasionally bad, but this one is easily the worst. Never again. I'd give 0...
Read moreFood was great. However the service was terrible. Went on Sunday and I ordered to go. The young girl that was my cashier didn't write a receipt and only asked for my name. I told her I would step out side since there was some people waiting and I wanted to social distance. Three minutes later I went inside and sat to wait for my order. 35 minutes later my order was never called or brought up to me. I got tired of waiting and asked for my order and apparently they wrote the wrong name and they didn't even bother to bring the order to me. The guy told me in an unpleasant manner "your order was right here" like I'm supposed to go to the back on the kitchen and pick up my food. I didn't fuss cause it's not my style and I had kids at home waiting so I just took my order and left. Got home order was incomplete and on top of that cold. Last time I go to this place. I do not...
